Panthers Made the top 5 on an ESPN List...
NAS replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sounds about right. Even if Bryce turns out to be a franchise QB the trade still was terrible. Even if they picked Stroud it was terrible -
Not buying it, it was the same with Dalton. It’s the passing scheme and receiver combination. There’s nobody on this team that can take a 5, 10 or 15 yard pass, make people miss and take it to the house. When Bryce is hitting them even downfield they’re almost always tight windows and are tackled immediately.
-
Deebo Samuel, Kittle, Aiyuk, Jennings and an offensive guru who knows how to scheme guys open. Even without CMC he has weapons. None of our receivers or tight ends would have sniffed the field on 49ers except for old man Thielen. Purdy would look like Turdy in Carolina
-
Exhausting because it’s true. Coker play is the exception. Take a look at the rankings, all passing leaders get much higher YAC per completion Bryce has underachieved but you can’t say the scheme and weapons have been conducive to success. I don’t think any of these QBs do much better in same circumstances
-
Haha exactly, imagine Brock Purdy in this offense with these weapons, especially last year with Thielen, Mingo, Chark and a crap OL
-
Bo Nix yep Of the 263 yards, 200+ for YAC. Just shows stats are misleading

Feeding frenzy on our market
-
Hahaha I love people piling on after a bad game, so predictable
-
Our defense is about to make Penix look like the next Montana
-
Agreed, needs to show he can bounce back with a big game and finish strongly.
-
Evero needs to go, the 3-4 defense needs to go, load up on defensive talent in the draft If there ever was an identity with this organization it was in being physical and able to stop the run. This is embarrassing

Every time I have an exchange with frankw you’re coming to his defense even though nobod’s taliking to you. You’re either a clone or riding his jock lol
-
The topic is specifically yesterday’s game and it offensive performance issues from yesterday. Try to keep up although I do find it interesting that you pretty much follow Frank of you around. I wonder if you are just one person trolling with multiple accounts
-
Put it at #1 it doesn’t matter, the list isn’t in ordert of importance . you’re just being a troll who has nothing to offer in terms of meaningful discourse
-
Fumble was a result of a sack on first play in second half. Should’ve run the ball instead. Already mentioned Turnovers on #5 but you want every thread to be only about Bryce. You’re just trolling now
-
1. Couldn’t run the ball effectively Zimmer took away the run game early and forced us to throw, especially when we got down early due to turnovers. Canales abandoned too early when we came out of the half he probably should’ve tried to re-establish the run 2. Pressure Cowboys defensive line generated significant pressure without having to blitz resulting in 6 sacks and constant pressure to disrupt the rhythm between Bryce and his receivers 3. Lack of separation on deep routes Aside from the Coker play, receivers can’t get separation quickly enough to make them pay deep for stacking the box due to #2 above. Bryce also seemed less decisive than last few weeks, not sure if he was seeing new looks that made him hesitate 4. No YAC (other than Coker TD) Short throws were there due to two deep safeties but our receivers don’t have the ability to run after catch. Not sure if this is also a schematic problem. Canales tried it with XL a couple of times. Conversely Dallas got a ton of YAC from similar short throws 5. Turnovers. You can’t win in NFL if you do this. Bryce must do better.

He may not be but it’s sure as hell hard to tell when the club is a dumpster fire. It makes me remember how bad Baker and Darnold looked here.

They’re not, but can’t have it both ways and not be able to admit you may be wrong too
