I honestly don't think there was much of a dropoff from Jenkins to Christensen (and everybody that went in-between them). I would have liked to have had Jenkins because he is a mauler in the run game, but I absolutely am pleased with the trade getting Marshall and Christensen in the process! I am still pretty shocked Marshall slipped out of the first round and a receiver like Toney went way ahead of him.

I think Marshall is going to ball out this year. Honestly think he was the 4th best WR behind Chase, Waddle, and D. Smith. Getting a top 25 talent 30 picks later is amazing. Teams are going to have a hard time covering our weapons if they stay healthy. Nixon is another one I can't believe fell to us in the 5th. Very explosive first step that can shoot the gaps and cause a lot of TFL. Should fill in well beside Brown. Outside of LB and FS, really liking how good our defense looks.

Isn't what you said contradictory? If he quit after the Ole Miss game, wouldn't he have more targets because he would just be going through the motions. Alabama also had elite talent at every position on the field on defense. South Carolina... Pretty much had 10 bums and Horn on the field. It is a lot easier to put up elite numbers and not get exposed when you have a dominant defense around you. Not saying Surtain isn't good, but Horn definitely has the highest potential to be a shutdown corner

If there was a year to trade down a lot, it was this year with how many people opted out because of covid. I think there are a lot of unknowns and its better to have more picks to see if you can find a diamond in the rough
