Slavin has been great in the playoffs. I think several of our players have shown effort also (Marty, Fast, Mac, Jarvis). The problem is who is a go-to scorer on lines 2-4 outside of Necas (who disappears in the playoffs).

You do realize we have scored all of 3 goals in 3 1/3 games, right... I'm pretty sure I would call a 2 goal lead insurmountable for the product we have out there.

There is probably a better chance of Florida scoring on Bob than us. Again, when your team is composed of grinders and playmakers (courtesy of Svech and Patches being hurt), this is what you get - bad scoring slumps

This series has been clear since game 1 the NHL wants Florida to advance. We haven't done any favors forgetting how to put the puck in the net, but the crap Florida has gotten away with in several rounds is freaking annoying

I'd rather just tell a 4th liner to run full speed into Bob and knock him out of the playoffs. Take the 5 minute major and game misconduct - well worth it

This. We have been one of the softest teams in the league for god knows how long. Other teams know this and they aren't afraid to hurt us. As much as I hate Kadri, we need somebody like that. When things start going bad, you can count on him to take out another team's star or goalie

I've pretty much been the same, except I'm to the point I have tuned out of more Panthers games than I would like to admit. Honestly, it took me too long to just not invest time into sports, unless they happen to be on in the background of a bar/restaurant when I'm with friends. How much happier I have been since doing this is amazing, outside of watching the Hurricanes lose to Florida

Lol. Nah, if it were Boston I would say put a bounty on Marchand. Outside of Bennett being a prick (wouldn't mind hitting him hard into the boards), I have no qualms with Florida.

It's definitely better than MLB, but I feel like it drags on too much when there are random stretches of 3 games in 4 nights then weird 4 day layoffs between games. You also just can't beat playoff hockey. Even though it sucked losing the 4 OT game, you just don't get that level of buttclench in any other sport.

I love the Canes, but the regular season definitely is too slow for me and I am not as tuned in. I am hoping we make some good additions in the offseason and can actually stay healthy in the playoffs for a change next year.

Yeah, I'm not hating on Florida. If they were Boston throwing cheap shots hurting our best player, different story. While they have been physical, I don't think they've crossed the line and have benefited from retarded refs. If they win, awesome. If they lose, couldn't care less. While this team isn't a trainwreck like every other Carolina franchise, they still aren't talented enough to win a Stanley Cup and it's annoying because we have a cheap ass owner/GM that doesn't want to spend any money. Somebody gets it. And we couldn't score that well even with Svech. Our offense relies on our forecheck causing turnovers and getting breakaways or odd man rushes. When we don't, this is what happens. We just have no pure scorers and very few playmakers. Pretty much just a bunch of grinders

This. Whether you lose 4-0 or 4-3, it's a forgotten footnote in playoff history. I hope we get swept so that is lost revenue for the NHL and it's sponsors/tv stations. I hope Vegas sweeps Dallas and then I could care less who wins the Stanley Cup but I hope it ends in a sweep also.
