  1. I say keep neither and use that extra roster spot on a WR or defense depth
  2. Tell your colleague to log into an AIM chat room so y'all can ASL
  3. Yeah, but Pickles admirably served his role - Commander in chief of the NFL version of the Bad News Bears to lead us to Cam
  4. You should know the Panthers MO by now... Terrible most of the year then win 1 or 2 meaningless games to end the season, drop 5-10 spots in the draft, and lose out on a franchise QB
  5. Watching Plummer play QB for this team will do it to the best of us...
  6. I'll take the worst preseason ever if we can finish above.500 this year...
  7. If it isn't Fitz, we are just that re tar ded... We aren't winning the superb owl - why keep a kicker that is the equivalent of a sloppy seven-nds
  8. I sadly am getting the same vibe. Crazy to not take the preseason seriously with the amount of new/young players we have this year.
  9. If we get very lucky and have no injuries... 6-11 or 7-10 With bad injury luck, good chance at 3-14
  10. Everyone knows we don't start trying until we are 0-5 to start the season...
  11. Agreed... Even moreso when Perkins looked 100x better than plummer the plumber
  12. I hear what you are saying, but he honestly had a similar profile to Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson entering the draft. I think he has all the talent to be great; it's just a matter if he can stay healthy and learn to read defenses. He also really had nobody to throw to at WR when he was on the field. I still wanted CJ number 1 and had Bryce and AR as a distant 2 and 3. AR was definitely a pick that when you made it, you sit him at least year 1 (like the Giants are going to do with Dart). Colts rushed him out there and have paid the price for it so far.
  13. Interesting and fair point. I think the Bears also have to go all-out with their playcalling in the preseason because they have a new OC with a completely new playbook. Hard to be vanilla in your playcalling then expect your team to know every play week 1 when they only had an offseason to learn the playbook
  14. Sarcastically saying this... This is our way of playing 5D chess when we actually don't call moronic plays the entire game week 1 vs Jacksonville. If we are calling 90% pass plays like we did in the first preseason game, go ahead and take us out back and put us out of our misery
  15. Maybe. I can't imagine there is more than a handful of 3rd stringers and beyond that are worth keeping on this team. I wouldn't be surprised if we had more waiver wire pickups on our roster than current 3rd/4th stringers on this team
  16. Would have made more sense if they called plays week 1 or 2. No point in calling plays for your 3rd and 4th stringers that are playing Thursday
  17. I would imagine that would only be for obvious pass rushing downs where the NT could hopefully shoot the gap (or stunt with the DE) before the IOL can figure out blocking assignments. I'm grasping at straws though
  18. Well, they are showing more passion than they did Saturday at least...
  19. Panthers skill position players and bad hamstrings... Name a more iconic duo
  20. Can we stop with these "reports" that we are interested in other teams vets when we finally have all of our own draft picks for once... I actually like how our safeties look - once we decide to bench/cut Nick Scott
  21. I honestly think they could be worse than our D last year without Hendrickson. Their offense is good enough to score 30+ points most games, so opposing offenses aren't going to be able to run the clock out like a good amount of teams did to us last year.
  22. Unfortunately this can happen when you don't have those dawgs that hold everyone, including themselves, accountable. You know damn sure players like Cam, TD, Luke, etc. wouldn't tolerate lack of effort and would chew your ass out if you half-assed it. Still think we have needed a culture change since Luke retired/Cam's shoulder died. Really need Bryce to be that player
  23. Didn't the Bills only play 3rd and 4th stringers most of the game?
