  1. And especially vs NO this week, who *also* have a fan base that celebrates Sam, a former Saints player. There were a number of Saints fans at the Superdome who high-fived me when I was wearing my Mills panthers jersey during a CARvNO game many years ago. Maybe younger Saints fans don't know, but the older ones definitely remember. #KeepPounding.
  2. It's like they didn't have anybody in charge check the marketing tag. This may not last long...
  3. Halloween Salad Dressing https://www.foodandwine.com/news/hidden-valley-ranch-halloween-costume-treat-size-dressing-packs
  4. To be fair ("tooo beeeee faiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrr") -- I'd be more concerned about changes to "Keep Pounding" if things like this or other signage were removed vs the stadium PA not leading the chant.
  5. The sweatshirt in the last box was sweet, not goin' lie.
  6. It's better than "Rise Up", "Who Dat", and "Let's hit Mons Venus" heard elsewhere in the division.
  7. For the first time in 17 years, RS has updated their list of the Greatest Songs Ever. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/best-songs-of-all-time-1224767/ Can't really complain about the top 5. Surprised at the #10 entry. B-52's Rock Lobster at #300 is a travesty.
  8. More details, such as background on the ExpressVPN CIO: unsealed court filings described how Gericke as well as Marc Baier and Ryan Adams faced charges for their part in working on Project Raven. The court records say that the three violated the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and conspired to commit access device fraud and computer hacking offenses. The court records say that the three took a zero-click exploit, which allows takeover of a device without any user interaction, and implemented that into Karma, the hacking system used by the UAE's Project Raven. Project Raven involved the hiring of former U.S. intelligence hackers who then worked on behalf of the UAE government https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-spying-raven
  9. Looks like ExpressVPN may not be the most secure place to be
  10. One thing I find (amusing? odd?) is that it's easier to track down various NoDa beer* in Greenville SC than it is to track down Panthers gear there. (*disclaimer: not necessarily all NoDa varieties, and there are also other Charlotte-area breweries represented as well) But we digress in this thread with these NC vs SC observations.... so let's loop back to the topic at hand: I don't mind the stadium event/marketing crowd experimenting with different things to engage the crowd, but let's hope that they fully received the message about how important Keep Pounding is to the fan base.
  11. Same holds true for western North Carolina, I've seen. I've been told (from sports stores in both areas) that the reason is that college sports are So Much Bigger in those areas that they don't have the demand for the pro stuff. Clemson, USC, fringe UGA stuff in Greenville? I get it. Limited Panthers merch - to me, that's an issue If it matters, they sell UGA gear in western NC for some weird reason.
  12. After walking in those shoes in BoA's bathrooms THEN deciding to take a drink...
  13. Go get 'em from the school store. I think these are a heck of a lot better than last year's mostly white edition.
  14. DAVE season 2 was absolutely fantastic. If DAVE isn't on your watch radar, it should be. THE WHITE LOTUS - horrible people treating hard-working hotel staff like poo. Plus, a murder mystery, maybe? Mostly drama, a bit of comedy. Accidental nudity a possibility MURDER IN THE BUILDING - see other thread, comedy with steve martin, martin short, selena gomez Been renewed for season 2

  16. who's going to tell them that you can't fake a covid test with the ol' fake urine trick?
  17. Taco Bell is rolling out a subscription service. Would you pay $10/month to get one free taco a day? https://www.wsoctv.com/news/trending/taco-subscription-taco-bell-roll-out-monthly-subscriptions-some-locations/M2WMOQBLCRHMZHEJSZOHTUHKHE/
  18. To think some people paid TONS of money for those seats tonight.
  19. (Reddit commentators are suggesting that the NFL is strongly opposed to 4K NFL broadcasts, as they feel the enhanced video production will cut down on ticket sales)
  20. According to wikipedia, which may or may not be accurate, here are the max resolution levels for national broadcasts ABC: 720p CBS: 1080i ESPN: 720p FOX: 720p NBC: 1080i NFL Network : 1080i The problem is that the cable company may not support higher resolutions on the channels that they feed down the line. Which is why Netflix and other streamers, along with DirecTV, are able to offer 4K channels. But until the sports stuff is *filmed* in the higher resolutions, don't expect to see Ultra 4k HD for weekly NFL broadcasts any time soon. Per Reddit - FOX does some HDR via the Fox Sports App or the FuboTV streamer. Fox and NBC 4K feeds are upscaled of their 1080 stuff They'll probably air the super bowl this year in 4K, as an experiment. If Amazon (or Apple or whatever streamer) ends up with Sunday Ticket, I'd expect games to be available in 4K via that method before they're available on 4K via broadcast
