    Dream scenario……we picked arguably the best player in the draft in our biggest area of need. Thank god we made a regional decision. Get Fitzpatrick and let him/Darnold fight it out for a one year rental.

    Anything in the Top 15 should be a blue chip player so I’m good with that. If you go back much farther you are taking a big risk and multiple teams have 20 players or less with a true first round grade on them.

    Fitt already said future picks in the first three rounds are off the table so I see no way this happens.

    What about for a trade down and pick up another position while gaining additional picks, then signing big man brown as a solid vet stop gap for a couple years? I agree with your opinion as well but I’m not sure I’d be mad if we landed someone like brown and filled other holes in the draft.
