  1. So so so so so so bad in the third quarter. This is officially panic mode for this team after the half. It’s not a random thing 5 games in.
  2. He has looked good today overall for his first start. Middle of the line is garbage and Darnold is having a terrible day because of it. It’s effecting his decision making which is not good today.
  3. Damn even Trent would be an improvement if they are scared of Brown being in
  4. Jackson is someone you don’t want to let go. You can lock down three young, dynamic, fast CB’s for the next 3 years minimum and only one is getting paid retail value.
  5. Some great points by Fitt on the latest panthers.com article: “Gilmore's the second corner acquired since first-rounder Jaycee Horn broke his foot in Houston, but even in discussing that bad news, it was clear that the Panthers aren't thinking about this as a long-range project. Fitterer said they're not ruling out having Horn return at some point later in the year, depending on his recovery. "We're hoping he gets back," Fitterer said of Horn. "And we hope, we plan on going to the playoffs." He said that pretty casually.” Adding Gilmore also creates another decision to make down the road. Like Jackson, his contract expires at the end of this season. And while Gilmore is a bit more of a wait-and-see based on his age (31) and recent injury (a quad injury which ended last season and forced him to start the year on the physically unable to perform list), they're fairly clear about their goals. They'd love to have Gilmore around beyond this season. But they definitely want to keep Jackson, the 25-year-old who is playing his best football at the moment. "I talked to Donte when we acquired CJ, and spoke to him briefly coming off the field today," Fitterer said. "Really this does not affect Donte at all. We know that we'd like to have him back. We think he wants to be back. We're planning, or budgeting I should say, to have him back. But this doesn't affect Donte at all."
  6. Gilmore is a one year rental to replace Horn and allow us to bring Henderson along slow as he is the future. Gilmore will return a 5th or 6th comp pick if we don’t re sign so it’s a win win for us. This has nothing to do with D Jack and I fully expect us to try to extend him after the season
  7. Show me a single QB that does not have a couple pass attempts that they wish they had back each game. If not for the terrible ref call which wiped out a fumble recovery, and resulted in a TD for the Cowboys, we are in this game. What really separated this game was the play of our O line. They are the glaring weakness on the team. Even with all the injuries on defense, we still show more promise than this garbage line that’s only missing….elf.
  8. Line was trash when winning. Who ever made an argument that it was good?
  9. Where’s your discussion? Easy to sit back and hate on everything brought up. Do you feel Sam wasn’t worth the trade? Go on record now and let’s look back at the end of the year and see who is right. Even with this trash line he is producing. This could go down as the worst line we have had
  10. I am a Cam Newton fans and always will be. He is the best QB we have ever had. Why bring him into my opinion that Sam was worth the trade.
  11. 301 yards today. 4 touchdowns total (2 passing, 2 rushing), 2 ints, 85.0 rating.
  12. I’ll @ you after the game and give you his year to date totals. The result of this game does not change my opinion that he was absolutely worth the trade capital we spent to get him.
  13. He’s still worth the trade so suck an egg. Bad day and we will learn from it.
