  1. I'm pretty sure those same receivers had a horrible QB too. Who doesn't get the ball out quick enough, makes poor reads, and throws to the other team.
  2. yet we go get some1 worst because he can throw further, but doesn't have the accuracy....so expect alot of ints trying to move the ball downfield. Report Reveals How Carolina Panthers Will 'Take Advantage' of QB Sam Darnold (msn.com)
  3. And yet the same defense, Sam probably won't win 6.
  4. Make him likable again in NY... That's Mr.Scot in the middle next to SBBlue
  5. Down 19-7 late 3rd He started out 0/5 because him and the Wrs weren't on the same page. He was trying to make a comeback, they were trying to go home... 1st int right in Samuel's hands, can't hold on, slips into defender's hands.... 26-7... 3rd and 10...Anderson ran the wrong route instead he ran towards the middle of the field. I watch this game live and I saw the WRs getting yelled at on the sidelines for slacking but PJ still under the conditions did better than expected. 2nd int blitz came, no protection, trying to do to much, easy to just throw the ball away(something that can be taught) 3rd int hail mary type play at the end of the game.... but in between the numbers, the accuracy shown at times, from soft to bullet passes, and the ability to extend with his legs... I watch this game live and I saw the WRs getting yelled at on the sidelines for slacking but PJ still under the conditions did better than expected. There's an extra spark to the offense that i think the rest of the team wasn't use to, ala the lions game...after halftime they started to click... This full off-season preparation, and guys getting familiar with his style of play is going to pay off big time, watch and see, and you're going be praising him to anyone who'll listen offline because on here, you were just another hater that got exposed.... Saints vs. Panthers Week 17 Highlights | NFL 2020 - YouTube 6:36 PJ's first int 8:20 after the coaches talk to the Wrs on the sidelines...
  6. What would PJ have to accomplish in order for YOU to view him as a QB? Since winning games clearly isn't an option in your opinion. I actually like that you would go "out on a limb" and say that to be honest. So optimist over Darnold but pessimist when it comes to PJ...
  7. yeah i said the exact same thing on draft night on this very forum, but was told by Mr.Scot that was a stupid take... But to add to this theory...the only reason I see for Rhule not taken Fields is either he wanted T.Lance/ he feels deep down PJ his QB, but the powers that be/fans need to warm up to the ideal. Hear me out...If Lance is there, u take Lance, he can sit behind Darnold for a year. You now have Darnold, Lance, PJ...Darnold can play out a year while Lance catches up. but Fields, Darnold, PJ...is a mess. Fields would be #1 no doubt. But here's the thing...the new GM is making his first pick ever. So yeah Fields would be thrown out there as the starter just because...alot of pressure. PJ would never see the field. now, the easy way out but still makes you look like a genius card: Pass on Fields, escape drama...get defensive help, if by chance Darnold sucks(GM fault) play PJ(Rhule looks like a QB guru) I said since last year, PJ is Rhule's guy...Teddy was more so Brady n Hurney, Tepper too, let's not act like he didn't see Teddy going 5-0 when Brees went down when we had Allen starting for Cam. But does Brady believe in PJ, probably not much Hurney's gone now...so how can Tepper be sold off on PJ... By allowing a young once to be thought good,1st round pick get his shot...but without being so tied to him you invested too much. Now if he bust, say hey let's give PJ a shot what's to left to lose... Fields could stink for 2 years but still have 3 years to prove he's good Darnold gets 1 year, but just in case he actually is good, u got one more year on the books...if not "teddy" him. The only reason I was able to finally accept not taking Fields is because Rhule's guy is PJ...and he believes in PJ so much he's willing to start Darnold as his QB. yes Mr.Scot incoming stupid post...Rhule is such a genius he traded for a lame QB to prove to others how good his #2 QB actually is...he's pulling a E. Taylor...but PJ's not Voodoo bc he's black but PJ is Saracen bc Rhule's coach him from the ground up. He knows the more doubt people place on PJ, the better he performs... ...sidenote: sean ryan going make this kid great...
  8. I'm going out on a limb and say....PJ "All I Do is Win" Walker
  9. He was pretty good against Detroit last year, hell, turn those two ints(first game mistakes) into TDs, would Darnold even be on this team right now?
  10. Based off your logic of having 2 #3 QBs, wouldn't that also mean we have 1 #2QBs and 0 #1QB. Food for thought...Mitch Trubisky is a former first round pick, currently on a team that didn't draft him charted at #2. So we have a legit #2 in Darnold. And Darnold was no better if not worse than Mitch.
  11. Let’s review… Didn’t the starting QB akaTeddy complain about practice reps in the end zone.So maybe PJ had trouble with 2 ints bc he didn’t get enough reps. But wait… there’s this… What did P.J. Walker do this week during practice for you to decide to start him? How did he perform in the game? "I thought he practiced well and I thought he played really well today. ***I thought there were some things in the first half that, a lot of things in our offense receivers have to make decisions, have to make reads and if the receivers are a little bit off, you know Teddy [Bridgewater] sometimes because he has so many reps can adjust.*** ****I thought there were a couple chances for big plays where PJ was right, and the receivers was maybe a little off in his decision and it didn’t quite connect. ***** I thought in the second half, I thought the receivers really stepped up. Robby [Anderson] made a huge catch on an over route and I thought everything kind of took off from there. **Obviously, PJ can’t have the two goal-to-goal interceptions so those could have cost of the game. ** *****Like anything else, those are always combinations of many factors.***** But I thought when you go 24-for-34 in your first start, you played pretty well. !!!! I think the big play to DJ [Moore] early on was something that our team needed. I thought it was a jolt in the arm for us. I think that drive went 95 yards. I think anytime you have a 95-yard drive on your second or third drive as a starter, that gives you a chance to win." -M.Rhule aka the head coach
