  1. You mean the ones a lot of us said was a weak crop this year? I literally laughed when rumors started about the Lions potentially taking Willis at #2. Willis at #8 was the highest I thought one would go and that didn't even happen.
  2. They are invested in protecting Herbert.
  3. This thread was started early October, I was super-stoked about him even back then.
  4. It will be a knockoff, but yeah, I'm getting one.
  5. He's a 3rd rounder, which mean borderline starter and that's exactly what he is...at this point in his career anyway.
  6. Start trading back unless there's a player in the 4th that dropped that we can't pass up. In nearly all my mocks, I started trading back in the 4th and ended up with some very respectable results.
  7. I was absolutely STUNNED when the Giants took the DE over an OT at #5. My mouth literally fell open! Then it hit me, WE'RE GETTING ICKEY! Let's Gooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. I don't think BC is OG material. Dude is a 3rd rounder...no shame at being the swing tackle. They will give Elf first crack at center, which means Bozeman will be LG.
  9. I think they are going to put Bozeman there and try Elf at center. At any rate, keep BC as the swing tackle...like I've been saying. He's decent, but decent shouldn't be your starter unless forced into service due to injury.
  10. I guess I can change my avatar, but not until he gets a pic in a Panthers uniform.
  11. I've been pimping this guy all offseason. I honestly didn't think he'd last to #6.
  12. Pierre Strong at #149 (covered up). I'd be happy with this draft.
  13. Heck, I'd take a 6th just to get his butt and his bloated salary outta here.
  14. Could of figured that about Becton. I don't get the infatuation with over-sized/overweight linemen. Like the kid out of Minnesota, Faalele, dude will be a huge bust. Yeah he's a monster, but he won't last in the League.
  15. ^This is how I would feel about passing up on one of the big 3 OTs.
  16. Cole Kelley-Southeastern Louisiana. Strictly as a backup unless PJ Walker has become the new Brenstin Bersin. Guy has good measurables, but is raw coming form a smaller school.
  17. I'm still dumbfounded who called the shots during the 2020 draft. Either Hurney had a mic drop draft on his way out or Rhule had a horseshoe up the wazzoo with the ol' beginners luck.
  18. I was going to put o-3, but I remembered which team I was thinking of. If there is a way to screw it up, we certainly will try. Therefore, I put 4-6. At #6 it will be hard to completely screw up the pick, but I'm sure Rhule will have to be talked off the ledge from making such a selection.
  19. Yet somehow, an Ivy League QB has managed to carve out a respectable career in the NFL. Point being, he has lingered around when he probably shouldn't have. I think his football IQ has kept him around longer than his athletic ability.
  20. I think GPA would be the best indicator. If you aren't willing to put in the study time during college, you probably aren't going to put in the study time in the League, especially when you are already under contract making bank. Granted some banking more so that others.
  21. So you might as well just look at their GPA?
  22. Eh, you still need to know the ratio of book smarts to practical (street) smarts. What was Luke's wonderlic? Dude, could analyze and diagnose things better than many coaches. Chances are it wasn't under a 20.
  23. And the NFL is doing away with this metric? It's not an end all, be all, but it's a useful metric in evaluating a player. Like KB for example, a 7 wonderlic shows that a player values that Krispy Creme donuts over fulling a multi-million dollar contract probably didn't do too well in math.
