So let's see this week. If this 'trend' holds, he should be middle of the pack following the Bucs.

^^^This. THANK YOU!!!! Nobody here (99.9%) hates Bryce or wishes the kid any ill will. The ultimate objective of finding the right dude to be the franchise QB is to bring home a Super Bowl. Some of us simply think Bryce isn't THAT guy. Is he playing better? Absolutely. Can he help the team to some wins? Sure. Is he the Panthers version of Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen? In my humble opinion, no, no he is not nor will he be. So if I am right (I could be wrong) what is our long term objective?
-
LTs are prime scapegoats, I would say second to only QB on the offensive side of the ball. So when the offense laid an egg versus Dallas, Ickey was right in the crosshairs. Granted, it was his worst game all season, but having one bad game 14 games in shouldn't necessitate a mob of angry villagers with their pitch forks on the Huddle like last week. The "trade Ickey" thread was over the top.
-
He's inconsistent, let's be honest. Juxtapose this and the Dallas game. Can't be objective and cherry pick. He's been on an upward trajectory, but from where he started the season, that's about the only way he had to go besides staying benched and eventually being cut. I get the enthusiasm, I simply don't think this is a sustainable winning formula.

Here it is in a nutshell: Bryce bad=horrible team effort, Bryce did all he could Bryce good= Look at what a great QB! He won in spite of his scrub team mates.
-
This...is...stupid.
-
Is Icky back off the trading block since Bryce had a good game?
-
LOL! These are weapons like a toothpick is a prison shank. You can call it a weapon, but will do little to no damage.
-
That's because our first round WR can't catch a cold or stay healthy. I'm pretty sure most teams would LOVE to have Thielen, even at 34 years old. Odd you left out a RB that gained 150 yards yesterday. That makes ANY QBs life pretty easy.

Look who dropped by to say Merry Christmas

That was the good luck charm yesterday. We had a winning coach Panthers coach back in the building. -
I agree with everything you said, with exception one word in the first sentence (I changed to average) and most of the last sentence. He had a good game yesterday. Things went about as well as they could for him. Again, I can't bank on everything falling exactly into place like that week-to-week. To caveat he's going to have a good game if everything else falls into place is not the pins and needles I want to be be sitting on each Sunday. I rather have a solid QB and can overcome a lost fumble or tipped pass for a INT. Winning with a clean sheet is a lot easier than winning when overcoming adversity. That's what Bryce has yet to do.

I agree, and that's why we get a QB in '26.

Games to Watch this Sunday (Monitoring Draft Position)

Wow, the Raiders just royally screwed up. By winning, they just let two other QB needy teams jump ahead of them. Yes, the Titans are likely in the QB market. Deshaun Watson will not play another down for the Browns. Sanders and Ward will be gone. -
That is an ultimate indictment. It's one thing to be a stud on dynasty college team full of blue chip talent driving up crazy stats, but to be just a facilitator and let the other guys eat says everything. The whole "point guard" thing sounded very strange to me at the time. It makes sense now though. Bryce is never going to be that guy to put the team on his back routinely. His bread and butter is going to be like Bama, let the play makers eat and don't make any costly mistakes.
-
Hubbard had more yards rushing than Bryce had passing (adjusted for sacks). You would think it was a monsoon or a blizzard with those kind of stats. Nah, just a cool sunny day where the QB leans on the running game and doesn't have to do anything special outside of--just don't turn the ball over. Success!
-
Hubbard and Thielen aren't? I still can't wrap my head around the idea of propping up an average QB instead of getting an elite QB. You do know Bryce isn't going to be on his rookie deal forever, correct? So when we build this team up around him and then he wants a big payday, we immediately have to start making sacrifices elsewhere. I've said this already, if we Daniel Jones or even Kyler Murray this team in another two years, I may have to walk away for good. The insane level of stupidity will finally have done me in with this organization.

This win, no. Another win, yes. I don't see that happening though. -
No, he's a game manager...at best. We get to see next year. I think he's about hit his ceiling.

It's not a top heavy draft, man. Trust me, if it were I 'd be peeved about today's win. When a two way player is the top of the board, it says two things: the guy is talented, also there's no generational stud at any other position. -

We aren't drafting either of the QBs and Travis Hunter will be first non-QB drafted. So we are looking at ER1, DT1, OT1, CB2 or WR1. Still not bad, not bad at all. Yes, I think Hunter is a better CB than WR. -

Dang! I don't expect that to last, though. Still, WTF Bills? -

Picks 1-3 aren't moving. If the Jags win today and next week (Titans, very likely) they jump us. Cleveland is in tank mode, so I don't think they win another either. The Patriots have a brutal final slate of games, so they probably lose out too. We have the weaker SOS versus the Bears and Jets. So yeah, this is a very likely landing spot. -

Do you honestly think we win out? I think we stay right about where we currently are at, around #7. -
OFFiCIAL Panthers vs Cardinals GameDay thread

We will still pick around 7th. I don't see much movement. This will be our last win off the year and teams we are currently tied with have harder SOSs than us.
