  1. I am once again not saying he is the next Drew Brees. I am pointing out that you cannot judge a guy for 3 seasons playing for one of the worst coaches in the league and with one of the weakest rosters. The jets franchise is awful, no way around it. Not everyone comes into the league as an immediate all-pro, guys careers have different trajectories.
  2. I said his first 3 years, seriously keep up. Year 1: 55% completion 1 td 0 int Year 2: 60% completion 17 td 16 int Year 3: 57% completion 11 td 15 int Total TD 29 total int 31 57% completion on average over the three years. My god it is there on the internet for anyone to see, try to troll better. I guess if you use his first 3 good years, you can come up with those numbers you pulled out of your ass.
  3. Is Jones really wearing #90? That is our 1 sure fire HoF players number.
  4. Im glad Anderson and Jones are on 1 year deals, we are trying to build something and they cant even be bothered to show up.
  5. When you consider everybody said we would have the worst D in the league on these very same forums, I think he did well. MoRon is supposed to be a defensive mastermind, but our D last season was better than our 2019 D. Give Snow some credit.
  6. So we are one of three teams to have 1000 yard receiver duo last season, but we have the 20th ranked WR corps? This was with a noodle armed QB. PFF is so biased, no reason to visit their website. fug them
  7. In Brees first 3 seasons he was completing less than 60% of his passes and had more int than TD, but continue with your revisionist history.
  8. Drew Brees was also "giving up on" but he has a ring and old man Rivers does not. I'm not saying that The Darnold is the next Brees, just saying it is not unprecedented.
  9. This, that is my only beef with the guy. He seems like a holdout type of guy, instead of a show up and produce type of guy. If he plays well enough i dont think we let him walk without making an offer, but as it stands this is his last year as a Panther.
  10. I dont know the scenario either, but as one of the top guys on offense I think he would only benefit from attending. I guess with him not there it does allow the younger guys to get more reps, so that is a positive I suppose. I also care that he produces during the games. He is a Panther for now so I will support him.
  11. I have no issues with that, just does not seem right to me, but to each his own.
  12. I still remember him begging for pro-bowl votes on the jets sideline. He also seems kinda peeved that his boy Teddy is gone and may not get the bulk of the targets anymore. If he was at OTAs I probably would not view him as harshly. I realize he has played with The Darnold before but every rep counts. Guys that get that go a long way in this league, guys that don't move teams a lot.
  13. I honestly did, not going to lie. I dont really care for Robby anyway, seems like too much of a diva.
  14. He was unwilling to push the ball because of his arm talent. He cannot push the ball, if he throws deep it is a floater and often off target.
  15. True, but that was with a QB who was not scared to throw the ball farther than 5 yards. I will concede that Moose was better than Robby though.
  16. Its basically the same. One week we have the best coaches in the league, the next Huddlers can call better plays and everyone needs to be fired.
  17. Hoover was only a fan favorite, the guy was not that great. Smitty was better than DJ, but was Moose better than Robby? Proehl was an average #3, another fan favorite, but he was 35 at the time. Our 3rd WR has a lot more upside than that. CMC is definitely better than Davis and Foster combined. If CMC was healthy last year our skill positions were better, and they should be better this year.
  18. Somebody has to hold you to this. One face for each cheek.
  19. They said he had differences with employess/officials. That can only mean he did not get along with The Darnold.
  20. They always say if you have 2 QBs, you don't have a QB.
  21. When that happens it gives the other team bulletin board material. Wilson already knows better, we have a formidable pass rush and he does not want to get destroyed in his first NFL game. Not really sure he can call out the Panthers for sucking when he plays for the dumpster fire Jets.
  22. He has more upside and has had better seasons than Teddy with worse surrounding talent, that is all that matters at this point. Our guys did not like the QBs that were available to them in the draft. They probably had a 2nd round grade or lower on the QBs that went after pick #3. We did not select a QB, get over it. Sam can either flourish or fail, we are not winning a super bowl this season anyway. No reason to constantly down the guy.
  23. Teddy would never attempt this throw. Robby needs to be around the team as much as possible. Stop with the interviews and show up for practice.
