  1. Because that obviously isn’t how wear on the body works. It isn’t a linear yearly thing therefore allowing you to multiply by 2 or 3. He’s still 21 years old
  2. I don't think it's exactly a 2:1 translation but I see your point. Year 1 also was at JSU which for a guy of his talent is really just another year in HS.
  3. Oh wow top 50 is pretty rough. He has absolutely elite ball tracking skills, his lack is probably on the route running side. Which yeah, not ideal coming into the NFL but can be taught. elite athleticism, body control, and ball tracking really you either have or don't. I think he would instantly be a top 50 WR but has the potential to be top 10. On the CB side I really don't see the Will Johnson is better angle. Will is good, but again Hunter is elite. An instant impact, top 10 CB year 1 kind of dude with potential to be a top 3 island type of guy. All of the above is assuming he focuses full time on one or the another.
  4. Yeah BPA always need a caveat. For example, we wouldn't draft Jeanty there if he truly is the best left. Or another QB. It needs to be BPA at position to an extent. But LT is prob one of those positions (DE/CB the others) I feel you can make an exception and always take if it's truly the BPA unless you have a true franchise guy already there (dont think we do in Ickey).
  5. If he is actually BPA then yes. Save money with Moton and flip Icky to the right or trade Icky for a pick. I really do think y'all will be surprised tho with the defensive players at 8. I think Will goes early, Hunter, TMac (surprise), Johson, and the 2 QBs. I wouldn't be shocked if Carter is the only non CB off the board from a defensive perspective at 8.
  6. Bryce is so good on the mic. He also sounds like a 16 year old lol.
  7. We can’t evaluate WR so the only options I see is go pay a lot for a guy who is proven or draft the consensus #1 WR
  8. Is Smitty usually way off on WR draft picks? I just vaguely remember he really liked Mingo
  9. He was a very high level talent guy that was known needed some time to adapt to the NFL. Also I think in our scheme the MLB calls the defense and has the headset. It definitely is not an easy position for a rookie
  10. I think it’s still Wallace. He was not supposed to be ready last year but injuries made him play a ton. He has a nose for the ball and think will be okay this year
  11. Would give my left nut for this draft
  12. I think Vrabel is a home run and has them playoff contenders by year 2. Cowboys are doing a 1 year hold. Maybe Deion said he needs one more year in college so he doesn’t get in same year his sons get drafted. Ben Johnson I have no idea, Caleb is going to be really good but can you get over the dysfunction of being the Bears? Is Johnson a guy who can build a culture? He learned from the best so maybe. no clue on JAX, going to say it doesn’t work because they’re still JAX. Same for Jets. wtf is NOLA doing
  13. that's exactly it. being reported its a 3 year contract, he prob is there for 3 years to right the culture then retire
  14. Ugh when’s the last time we got a good natty? The Tua game? This sucks
  15. I don’t know that argument isn’t really RB specific imo. Everything you said above while true, is applicable to every single position besides QB. You could replace WR, LT, DE or whatever and what you said holds true.
  16. Josh Jacobs, saquon, CMC, Zeke… Michel is a bust. Who else? I wouldn’t say it’s a VERY bad track record
  17. Amazing if it actually plays out like this
  18. I don’t think this is twitter related. This site has always been insanely inefficient with no memory optimization and it’s just been getting worse.
  19. Can’t believe Mingo is 113. Insanely well done by Morgan
  20. No we have enough invested in the OL and need to pay Icky. Cade has played well enough where it’s worth a little less play to have a rookie contract and not someone who is 31. Spend all our money on defense
  21. Bryce is literally becoming the pre draft #1 overall hype guy before our eyes. It's amazing to watch.
  22. Of course not, but it is a major piece. Especially with how Bryce was slinging it towards the end. We would still have all of FA (we can make a TON of cap space this year) and a loaded 2-7 round picks.
