  1. I'd rather have Richardson at 9 then Stroud/Young at 1 with what it will take. However if things get crazy and Stroud/Young is still there at 5 I think you have to go get him. I think the pre draft is always QB crazy and we know the Colts are stupid so I could see 1) Jalen Carter - Bears: stay put after all the trade back talk and stick to their roots and go defense 2) Young - Texans: Nothing to be said here, best QB in the draft as of right now. 3) Will Anderson Jr. - Cardinals: New defensive head coach and the best player in the draft, prob a no brainer if he's there. Dark horse - Quentin Johnston cause Kyler throws a fit for a new WR 4) Levis - Colts: Do their thing and take the guy who got hot throwing in shorts and t shirts at pro day 5) Stroud - Panthers: First trade of the day, give up one of our 2nds this year, 9 this year, 1st next year and 3rd next year. Alternative - Colts go Stroud and we do the same to move up for Levis (where at that point I'd rather stay at 9 for AR)
  2. Agree. If Reich ends up being the guy, Carr would be our Alex Smith. 3 years or so to right the ship and then we make a big reach for a QB down the road.
  3. Actually now that I think about it, even if we do mess up OC we still have Staley already and Reich is most likely calling plays. This staff is already complete with OC still left to go. Great job by the FO
  4. Shaping up? Man I gotta say unless we absolutely somehow bomb the OC hire it already is the best. Amazing job this off-season.
  5. Why did you conveniently not bold the sentence right after that which said draft whichever is left we like best. You’re still getting a QB in the top 10, all 4 will not be gone by 9
  6. First round QBs are a crapshoot when you don’t have an Andrew Luck or T Law type of guy. Nobody this year is that guy. Stay at 9 and grab who you like best left.
  7. I'd rather AR at 9 than trading up to 1. Would be nice to keep all our picks and still get our guy if the coaching staff likes him. That being said if things get stupid and BY is still there at 3 you gotta go get him
  8. doesn't look great now but have to assume we drop or at min restructure Shaq, he's 10% of our cap alone. CMC is 8% dead. Signing Burns should help. Moton and DJ are our other 2 big hits and I imagine we keep them the same, but Fitt is basically saying they think our time is now so maybe they restructure those too. If we get a rookie QB who we think is ready to come in day 1, I could see us clearing up some space to go get a couple big names in free agency. Cap is also going up $16M this year. We should be able to get to $50M fairly easily without mortgaging the future. If we REALLY get aggressive $70M is doable.
  9. I also hope we don't pick Levis BUT if we do I'll just remember how stupid I thought the Bills were for picking Josh Allen. Or the Ravens for Lamar. NFL QBs are such a crap shoot
  10. I hope we’re already on the phone with Evero
  11. That’s so tough cause we all know Rhule had way more power here than he should have. I’m really interested to see how Fitt is with a real NFL staff
  12. Your point “A” and also Steve Wilks is not a good coach. We just had the bar so insanely low from Rhule that we thought he was good but in reality he is average at best and a good coach would’ve gone 8-4 or better with our roster and joke of a schedule.

  15. God damn he throws a nice ball, are there rules against HC also playing a few drives?
  16. Guess it isn’t stroud then. This feels like 49ers leaking they were gonna take Mac Jones
  17. Sam is like that toxic ex you keep going back to. I keep telling myself I’m completely done with Darnold then we go and hire a QB whisperer who is known to help QBs thrive. Then you look at Sam’s prior situations and realize he’s never had a good coach. Then you remember how insanely talented his arm is. See I’m doing it now
  18. I don’t think Wentz is coming here but just seeing those stats of how good he was under Reich vs how awful he’s been without him has me WOOLY
  19. I love Stroud, but honestly thought more BY. For toughness and decision making I don't think you can find better than Young
  20. Bozeman and Pinero are 100%. Shaq if the money is right. Would be very nice to not have to go find a new LB this draft since we are really needing a QB, WR and DE
  21. Just curious as you said he failed with Phillip Rivers while going 11-5… what is your expectation for a good season?
