  1. Going after Watson this season after the draft? Or waiting until next year.. or... Because there is no way the team should sit and wait a year for possibly, maybe, hopefully we can get a QB we like next year. At least I am not in that camp. I like Minshew as a swing and miss, have written it twice on this board before. Try fill the position every year. That's my point.
  2. Then we agree on most part. But PJ is the same thing as tanking. I rather we try find our guy, even picking a 2/3round QB. Rather swing and miss than wasting a year hoping for the future. Don't put the roster building QB position, on hold.
  3. First take, reading the title. They have been lurking in this forum. But if they think we would be willing to offer that for the 6th pick. I guess there is a new bath salt trend going on in Florida again.
  4. Some WFT fans think Taylor Heinicke is the answer. We also have this category of fans, the PJ Walker fanclub. I think the games would be more fun to watch, but we would still have a losing record. Forever...
  5. Dont worry.. You wont see it. Guy to the right holding something...
  6. That´s the spirit! ... Go USA haha
  7. Yeah, we will see. Maybe I can try reach out to the MCFC owner who handles money that would make Teppers wealth look like pocket change. Y´ll ok with an Arabic owner dressed in a skirtish-clothing-thing if he can deliver success? Right? edit: problem, i think he likes to train Falcons as a hobby... hey, maybe we can convinc him playing with Panthers are more fun. Take it to the next level...
  8. Despite being here for 4+ years, I still cant grasp this american cultural fetish and obsession about the owner of a team. Oh, he owns the team. He is not godlike person that will come and save us all. The expectation is unreal... And just as a reference, my other football team is Manchester City. Whom got an super rich owner that took the club to the next level... So i have already experienced what some of you are desperately seeking... A successful ownership change. What did the City owner do? Hands off. Let the football people do their work. (One of the front office management person at MCFC was actually hired by Tepper. Tom Glick)
  9. oh really? Mac Jones. Huh. If i remember it, you arent high on him. What about Lance or the second/third rounders. Have you made a longer QB ranking?
  10. No. He will break his leg in the first game and then Panthers will go 6-10 and pick at 12 and we take the next Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes... "hear me now, quote me later" edit: maybe Josh Allen was picked earlier... 7? anyway..
  11. That was always the case when picking at 8 with this roster. There are a bunch of interesting QB prospects in this class. You try one and then you try another next year if you dont get it right. And we could still trade for Jets or maybe even Falcons pick if we trade the farm, our future and our dignity... not over yet.
  12. Come on... having a bad day or what? Some of these first round QBs will be bust and some other in the second or third round could end up being starter material. The GM have said, first interview i think, you take a QB every draft.... So a QB in the second or third round would bring some excitement or interesting story to follow this season... And can we get a top prospect at LT. That position might be solved for the future... So no reason to "give up" and dream about what can happen in 2022.
  13. So my take is, that you only move up like this if you love multiple QBs. Picking at nr 3 dont guarantee anything if you only like 1 or 2 players. So they must feel comfortable with 3 of them. Otherwise it is a very risky move. But hey, what do i know...
  14. I like it but then I am used to city name + sport + club or some variation of it. During the 90s it was popular for teams to change their names over here. Influenced by das America and added silly names that had nothing to do with the club or city... Addition was always English words BTW.
  15. Maybe I see it wrong, but that looks like 45 yards in air. Yes, no?
  16. Missed that! Thanks for the correction. As stated before, the behavior in this thread. Outlandish.
  17. Should it even matter? I mean, the things that have been said in this thread. Even if no women was reading it, whats said here is so outlandish in itself.
  18. Also my thought. Addictive behavior or something. Which maybe in the end could be in his advantage? I have no idea! I have barely read the accusations. Anyway. This is insane.
  19. I agree. This thread is mindblowing. The tinderbox is jealous right now.
  20. Well, looking at today cuts it seems everything is on the table. Would save 920k on against the cap if the numbers I saw is correct.
  21. Not according to the wayback machine. Was the same text back in 24th of january. So "NFL linebacker" is not new.
