At the same time if the defense is already outplaying then, who cares if they get it on the 25? Every team we play won’t have that scenario and it seems silly not to see what you have in the kicker…because at some point he’ll have to make those, get him comfy now is my thought but maybe they already know he isn’t the answer for the season and they’re looking elsewhere.

Not sure if $18-20 mil a year for a LB will be a bargain. His 8m this year is looking good, but contract as a whole, I’m not sure anyone can really live up to just idiotic though not his fault. I agree he played well. Problem is he earned a lot of great money being good, but it’s in the past. Something will have to be done about his contract at the end of the year. Let’s see if he can keep it up and be worth most his money.

I think his elusiveness is good. And overall I’d agree. Lawrence has two horrible INTs. Look at P Manning’s first year, was awful. I’m not sure some know how to watch football. He’s a rookie, look at his oline. It’s actually worse than the Panthers. They don’t have a cmc…or really anyone. I like some of the things I’ve seen from Wilson.

Not gonna lie even as a Panther fan, he continues to surprise me. Unless he’s injured he’s just one of those elite players that just won’t have a bad/off day.

Whether he is the answer or not…I think we can all approve he is much better than TB.

I agree with the sentiment but I think people are coming to the realization this is the Jets. And they’re playing like the Jets. If you can’t score a TD in the first half against the Jets, that’s a lot of growing to do in order to play the big boys.

To me it’s not so much who is starting but if after several games you’re in a ‘the next guy can’t possibly be any worse (Whitehead)’ situation, it’s time to move on and try something new. There should never be this feeling a coaches favorite/vet has the job no matter what.
