First game I've ever not watched. On RedZone instead. I've left games this season for RZ, but never from the start. Just saw the Bryce fumble highlight. Nice. Keep up the thread though so I can laugh.

I love it. Similar to watching golf. It's supposed to be relaxing, not exciting (until the Playoffs). It survives because it's still popular, played by amazing athletes, with great fans, and great tradition. Take the family to the outdoors ballpark. Eat a dog, drink a beer, sit back and enjoy life. You want to talk meaningless ... that's the NBA regular season.

I think it's funny how Whoaa refuses to grasp that we can patch together draft picks and FAs that can give us the same amount of sacks/TFL that Burns gives us but for much, much less. He wants to tie up our salary cap for a player who just isn't tops in the league at his position.

I guess my point is, if you hire someone whose sole intent is to build the team around Bryce ... and Bryce ends up being the bust ... you've hurt the franchise for even longer. Huge gamble. Bring in an offensive mind who can work with Bryce. Don't build a "Bryce Team".

Bill O'Brien would be a huge mistake. Hiring someone who would then plan the entire offense around a QB we don't even know will be good could mean another lost year. Young Ball ain't going to work in the NFL. Young will need to use his gifts/talent and make it work in an offense that can win games in the NFL. This isn't Bama (no matter if they ran a "pro" game). That hiring would be the epitome of Bryce coddling.
