It's true. Betting against the spread in KC's games has basically been free money this year. They're always favored but they never cover.

There's really no point in getting worked up about Bryce. We're not getting a top 2-3 pick to take a QB. We'll probably sign someone in FA and/or draft someone late. Bryce will most likely be the guy going into next season again while we continue to build the roster. I don't see the point in getting attached to this guy, but I also don't see the point in arguing whether or not he's any good. That decision doesn't have to be made now, and it won't be. He'll get next year and our FO will have more information.

Just go with film over measurables. Take the best player. Maybe his ceiling isn't the greatest receiver of all time, but he'll be more likely to contribute to the team.
