  1. I would be shocked if they sign him. It would basically be admitting Bryce isn’t going to work out.
  2. Agreed on viewing the numbers in context. Also I’m biased but Steve Smith was a true game changer in his prime. Andre Johnson was a great player but I don’t think teams were as afraid of him as they were of prime Steve Smith. I have seen very few players that can have an impact on a game like Smith could.
  3. You can't go wrong with Cam or Peppers, but have you considered Todd Saeurbrun?
  4. Na. I’d rather roll the dice on Jaycee being healthy versus Jeudy being useful.
  5. Probably deserved, but its funny how the perception of Campen went from OL whisperer to dog poo in 1 season.
  6. I remember the rough patch between Harbaugh and Shanahan but I forgot it took Shanahan 3 seasons to get things going. Now this year you have Dan Campbell getting it together in year 3. Hopefully Tepper will be more patient with Canales than he was with Reich.
  7. It’s possible but I really doubt it. If Bryce is the same or worse next year I’d expect the team to move on. Real question is does this coach survive to see that happen?
  8. Please don't. If thats the case, just get the best pick possible.
  9. Agreed. I will be tempered in my comments so I can reserve the right be outraged in hindsight.
  10. He'll be fine. Money is the last (only?) thing you don't have to worry about when working for Tepper.
  11. He could be terrible but I don’t hate this choice. I figured he was the guy after Morgan was picked.
  12. John Harbaugh didn't have any head coaching experience before the Ravens.
  13. This is the best way to go. Spend draft choices and salary on improving the positions around the QB. If Bryce doesn’t work out, at least we have better pieces around the position for the next guy.
  14. I think the best selling point of the job is it’s several years pay for 10 games of work.
  15. Of course he will. Why not get an absurd offer from Tepper and see if your preferred team will match or up their offer?
  16. Tepper only fires people too early or too late. Since Fitterer is still here, I think we're screwed.
  17. I think thats a pretty safe bet. If Tepper becomes a repeat offender for stuff like this expect the punishment to go beyond a fine. Pretty sure thats in the conduct policy somewhere.
  18. The best thing the Bears have done is fleece us lol. Other than that, its not impressive IMO.
  19. Out of the list in the OP I would be most excited about Hortiz. Don't know anything about him, but the Baltimore Ravens are one of the better run front offices in the league since they moved from Cleveland. Hard no on the Bears. Peters from the 49ers would probably be a good bet but it doesn't sound like he's leaving.
  20. I feel like that rating requires some kind accompanying explanation in essay format.
