  1. I will never blame anyone for taking a job where they are overpaid. I would do the exact same thing.
  2. This regime might be a complete flop but I’d rather see them build the team they need for what they want to do than force players that don’t fit into it.
  3. The one time they intentionally tanked Steve Wilks won a bunch of games with Sam Darnold throwing 10 passes a game lol. Actually the most successful period under Tepper.
  4. I guess they don’t see Bozeman as a fit for the offense.
  5. Just spend every pick on a WR in this draft, and one of them is bound to work out.
  6. The Watson trade is arguably worse than that.
  7. Not surprising but I hope he's okay. He had some kind of amnesia after a concussion this year.
  8. I think going to another team would be better for him. He's been on a losing team for the first 5 years of his career. Burns says he doesn't like change and wants to stay. It reminds me of people I've worked with that don't like the company they work for, but refuse to look for another job. I know if it were me, a change of scenery would probably be in order.
  9. I predict he plays out the season on the franchise tag, and we're in an even worse spot next offseason.
  10. Russ isn't a traditional running QB, but he still relies on his wheels a lot as a passer. His entire play style in Seattle was running around like a cartoon character until he heaved up a pass downfield. He can't really get away like he used to.
  11. He's washed but would be an upgrade. He won't be signed here. I really doubt Bryce gets any real competition this season.
  12. It was dumb to turn it down from the team's perspective, but you have to put yourself in the shoes of Scott Fitterer. He probably didn't like his chances of surviving long enough to use those picks if he sold off Burns. The team had to show signs of life or he was going to get fired. Almost every GM is playing for right now, hence the Rams offer in the first place.
  13. 6-10 years? By 10 years the original players are retiring or on the way towards retirement lol. You don't need to hit on 53 players in the draft to build a roster. If they know what they're doing, the team can be turned around in 2-3 seasons. Probably more like 3 in this case. You need to hit on a few picks and then fill in the rest however you can. Great players have the effect of making the role players better. For example, Derrick Brown made the entire defense better last year. Our team sucks, but hitting on a few picks makes a world of difference. We haven't really hit on any picks since Marty Hurney got fired a 2nd time. The only time a rebuild takes 10 years is when it takes 7 or 8 years to hire the right people.
  14. I liked the Washington Football Team gimmick. It was unique.
  15. Yep. Brown was touted as a grown ass man out of college that was ready to push around pro offensive linemen. He was considered one of the safest picks where he was selected. His first two years he played like dog water. He turned it around in year 3 and he was phenomenal this year. I already ate my crow on Brown. I was wrong. But he did not look good until year 3.
  16. Ok I am laughing. Thank you for sharing.
  17. Fields is inconsistent. His highlights are impressive but he needs to play more consistently. I’m not a big fan but taking him when we had the chance would have been better than what we ended up doing.
