If we didn't trade up and take Bryce, we would have definitely taken Caleb the next year. There's no other outcome for us.

They're gonna get mowed down by Deandre Swift the rest of this game. Sad state of affairs.

Vikings are toast. Sucks when your season is over at halftime in week 1.

Catch the ball 19

Diontae Johnson last year. Problem was he couldn't catch.

I was a big McCarthy hater going into the draft, so I'm going to go ahead and declare victory here.
-
They made the right decision not paying Darnold. Unfortunate that McCarthy looks nowhere near ready to play.
-
At what point do you pull him?
-
Sometimes you just know.
-
At least the Vikings didn’t pay Darnold for this result
-
Alright shoot him and draft the next one. Next.

Put the 3rd string dude in there

Yea you can’t touch anyone now. You should at a minimum have a right to the space you’re in. But that’s why I don’t understand the value on premium CBs. The rules are a joke.

I’m trying to be positive on Bryce Young, but….

Ok but where is Henry on the big time throws chart? -

That's interesting. I didn't watch any of it. Kamara is one of the most underrated guys in the NFL IMO. He's always a play maker. I just don't have a ton of faith in Kyler or the Cardinals in general. But their TE probably eats our LBs alive all afternoon. -
That's absurd

Feels that way, but they only beat the Saints 20-13. They'll probably win, but I don't know if they can be relied upon to deliver a blowout. Jaguars should have won by at least 20. -
The unfortunate thing is statistics are always about large enough sample sizes. But football is about small sample sizes. The entire game can be decided on one bonehead play. And that's rated the same as every other play basically. That ends up swinging 1 of only 17 games. In baseball, for example, you have 162 games for things to even out. Every day players literally get 600 at bats a year. There's no sample sizes like that in football anywhere.

100%. If it was all attitude and heart, QBs like Josh Allen would be coming off of a factory line. He's a physical freak. He came in super talented as a passer. He had serious flaws that were fixable. He had the development support to help him fix those flaws. It's like saying anyone can be as good of a shooter as Steph Curry if they're coachable enough.

Did Ken Dorsey really fix it? He's a QB whisperer, or he gets credit for coaching the unicorn?
