    Yea there's only so much you can do if you have a smaller frame. It just depends on the individual.

    That's fair, I just don't think not winning with Luke holds a lot of water. We had a hall of fame DE in Peppers and a MVP QB in Cam and we didn't win a championship or get back to back winning seasons with either of them. And I don't think they were the problem.

    So are you arguing that drafting Luke was a mistake? Or they should have traded him?

    Seriously? You're deluding yourself if you think he will accept anything less than a monster deal.

    The point is you don't pay good players like they are elite players. It's a ticket to going nowhere fast. It's not that hard to connect these dots.

    Yea but your argument is because a team is willing to give 2 1sts for Burns, he must be elite and the Panthers would be dumb to trade him. I point out an example that disproves that and you just dismiss it. Okay.

    Qb is the most important position in the game. That doesn't make it smart to pay Kirk Cousins like he's elite. It's not that complicated.

    Turning down this deal and making Brian Burns the cornerstone of the defense is a big mistake. He is a good player but get ready for a monster overpay if we don't move him.

    Exactly. Plus why was Zane even available in the first place? Cause he missed too many kicks for his last team. Could easily happen once he returns. Kickers are weird.

    That draft class is looking rough right now. Still time for some of these guys to figure it out, but that top 3 being the bottom of this list is pretty eye opening. Davis Mills has quietly looked better than most of the class. And goes without saying Fields has been playing well the last couple weeks.

    Not until PJ loses the job. He didn't play phenomenally yesterday, but he didn't play bad enough to lose the job either.

    Yes it was a lame call and the NFL is not consistent. And yes, it should probably be removed as a rule because it's stupid. But a good rule of thumb is just never take off your helmet in that situation. I don't hold it against DJ as much as some people are. He's had a pretty rough season and that play was unbelievable. Just learn from it and move on.

    I don't think this roster is built to stop the Atlanta Falcons attack. We have been taken to the woodshed by running teams the last few years. That said, what do I know. Maybe the scheme could have been better for that game.

    He's already got an NFL roster spot next year based on the last 2 games. Someone will sign him to be a backup if we don't keep him.
