  1. Tackle was the obvious choice, but honestly I was afraid the top tackles would be on the board and we would draft Kayvon lol. It just seemed like the most Matt Rhule move to make. Glad that we got Ickey.
  2. Its ok for fans to be optimistic about a player like Sam Darnold, but the real issue was the coaching staff making him the sole heir to the QB position for absolutely no reason.
  3. Hard to complain about 7th round selections but here we are.
  4. This is a much better pick than a long snapper.
  5. At first I was a little unsure about trading next years 3rd, but it’s not like our 4th was a handful of picks away. It was an end of round comp pick, so it was almost in the 5th round. No certainty that Corral or Howell would be there with that pick. Seems like good value here and a better prospect than will Grier. I’m just glad they finally drafted someone. Nobody’s winning Super Bowls with mediocre to bad cast offs at QB.
  6. Not sure how I feel about next years 3rd to move up here.
  7. If the Steelers hadn't picked Kenny Pickett, would he still be on the board here?
  8. The Houston Cleveland connection strikes again.
  9. How did they not fix the microphone issues from day 1?
  10. At this rate, we will get a QB in the 4th.
  11. Shouldn't take 3 seasons for a top 10 defensive tackle to figure it out. This isn't a quarterback. The average career length is 3.3 years.
  12. Agreed. It was noticeable when Star was added. Brown can't control gaps. He's stronger as a pass rusher than a run stopper, and he's not a particularly good pass rusher either. It shouldn't take 3 years for Brown to develop, because his draft profile was the big strong man that was ready to go day 1. I hope he proves us wrong this year cause its not looking good.
  13. You cant lol. If we're talking strictly top 10 he's easily right there with Biakabutuka.
  14. That seems like a lot to move up a few places for the Chiefs.
  15. At this rate Howell might be available in the 4th.
  16. There absolutely is value in having a good LT, and you typically only get those by drafting them. They don't hit free agency until they are washed. Sure the team won't go anywhere until we have a QB, but LT is an important position. Just because LT can't carry the team by itself doesn't mean it's not valuable. The Chiefs lost the Super Bowl largely because their LT was hot garbage. If the argument you're making is drafting a tackle will force a trade for Jimmy G/Baker and ultimately be worse I can see where you're coming from. But saying LT is a replacement level type position without anything to back it up other than the Browns is questionable.
  17. That's revisionist history. Sure some people have hated the trade since day 1. But, plenty of people around here were overly optimistic about him last Summer. Things didn't get fully "toxic" until he started stinking it up bad.
