Scott Fowler on game, Young, Panthers. Not wrong

The problem with "it's just one game", is there's a much bigger sample size of games like this.- 65 replies

I like the 2nd idea the best. Sliding him inside would work if we didn't just sign 2 starting guards.

Icky is no match for a top end rusher. It's painful to watch.

Jeanty had a historic season and has the narrative that he put the team on his back to get to the playoffs. I think he has a better argument but he won’t win.
-
He's gonna do it on 17 carries

They already proved they don't belong in the playoffs. But they killed Tulane, and Tulane killed Navy. By the transitive property, they should have won.

Army passed the ball way too much this game but they just got straight up beat all over.

I really thought Army would win big. Wow.

There's only so many angel promotions that can happen. -
I completely agree, but I think that's why they opted for more of a "celebrity" hire instead of someone actually qualified for the position.

Players will transfer to play for BB just like they transferred to play for Sanders last season. Whether it works out is another thing entirely. But there will be players interested in playing for UNC that previously would not have considered it.
-
NIL and the transfer portal brings a new paradigm. Name recognition bears more weight than traditional recruiting chops. This kind of has Charlie Weis to Notre Dame vibes on it for me, but I understand why they're doing it.

They are close to the same spiritual age

Damn why did you have to predict this? I already got 10 bucks on it lol.

Strategy aside it just seems that the freaks are leaving for the NBA before they even fill out. Or they don’t play in college at all. They don’t grow into their bodies until their 5th year in the NBA at 23. I think it’s hurt college basketball as a whole.
-
College basketball also suffers from players leaving after 1 year for the NBA, or skipping it entirely to play overseas or in the G League. I don't know if it's just me, but college basketball athletes are not on the same level as college football athletes on aggregate. That gulf didn't seem so wide 20 years ago. But maybe that's just me.

What would give you that idea? He's already met his soul mate.

I don’t know when he’s coming out but that kid at Notre dame has a vertical jump straight out of the X-men movies
