  1. I think showing up at 360lbs probably tells you all one needs to know about Brown
  2. Let me rephrase it then: He seems to be using the caveman lawyer defense of himself that he doesnt suck. "I dont suck because people ask me for my autograph." Yeah, that makes perfect sense.
  3. They should hire me as a consultant for oline drafts
  4. Any grown man that ends his post with "lol" isnt worth responding to at this point.
  5. Kev laid it out for us. Its all right there. Through free agency and late round picks. Its brilliant. Meanwhile he cannot point to one top 10 line in the NFL that is built this way
  6. Yep. I watch a lot of college football and this class is horrifically bad.
  7. Even the most diehard UNC fans on here are having second thoughts about him being a NFL qb. Thats telling. Kid is talented but has a lot of red flags
  8. We werent. Give the staff credit all of the guys had pretty big red flags so we went another route. Dont blame them a bit
  9. I have watched 80% of Howell. Watched Willis vs NCSU last year and the highlights that you (or another poster posted on here). A mediocre ncsu defense shut him down. Aside from that fact and the fact he is not playing anyone the dude is 6ft 200lbs. That scares the poo out of me. No thanks to both.
  10. WTF have you seen from either to think they are franchise qbs???? Jesus H Christ I would rather roll with darnold then those two.
  11. Again, we've been all aces trying to sign bodies to build our oline.
  12. Tepper and his analytics are smart enough to know that no qb being pressured 50% of the time is going to win many games
  13. For fugs sake, how many times are we going sign some bum in free agency only to have it blow up in our face? We've tried it, that method doesnt work. Look at all the great lines in the nfl, do some research on where there studs were picked.
  14. Yep, I am scared of drafting a rookie qb in the first and having to ride him out for at least 3 years hoping, praying he is not a bust. And then having to start completely over with a new guy and probably new coach as well. And granted its early but so far from this vaulted qb class of the 2020 draft its looking pretty rough as well. I would much rather build the time line and see what Darnold can do without running for his life 50% of the time. Nothing against horn but I still have no clue why in the hell we didnt get slater. If our scouting dept dropped the ball on that then someone needs to be fired. Kid is the real deal right out of the gate
  15. Nah, some guys want to draft a 6ft 200lb qb from some religious school in the mountains that hasnt played anyone in 2 years
  16. We've tired it every which way except drafting a quality one in the first. We are not good at throwing money at line free agents. Bite the damn bullet and pick a fuging LT and be done with it. Seems like we had pretty good success the last time we did it.
  17. I dont understand how people dont see this yet. Its mind blowing.
  18. I still think we are picking in the high teens. I dont want the 3rdish qb off the board. Plus this class as it stands now looks abysmal. I think if they pick a qb in the draft it would be picking one for the sake of picking one. Fix the fuging oline and lets see how the next qb does instead of doing the same thing over and over and over
