  1. You said it, the QB market has never been so crazy as the year. I think there is a very slim chance one of the top 4 drop to the 8th pick. Heck, I think there is a better chance QB's go the first 4 picks than one falling to pick 8 If you want one of them, be prepared to give up picks to move up for one, and the bidding is going to be competitive.
  2. I almost wish the Falcons would waste their 2nd round pick to move up one spot.
  3. Yep, I just know that DW4 and Fuller have a very good friendship and would like to play together. With that 6 game suspension, I wonder what we could get as a discount, especially year one
  4. Its a definite long shot, but the thinking was get an extra pick from trading Anderson, then sign Watson's buddy Will Fuller to replace Robbie.
  5. Hypothetical at this point, but if Watson were to be traded here, what could we get in a trade for Robbie Anderson?
  6. Especially with his friend DW4 throwing to him.
  7. I think he caught more TD passes than our TE's last year.
  8. I would much rather make this trade for a proven top 5 QB in the league than to give up (2) 1st and a 2nd to move up for a rookie that is 50% chance at best to even become above average as a starter in the league. In terms of picks, Watson literally cost 1 extra 1st rounder while saving that 2nd rounder this year to draft a LT. I would much rather give up a player or two to keep that 2nd this year with a proven QB than have that 1st rounder 2 years down tge road and a rookie QB that may be good or may already be a bust in 2 years. Also, if your GM cannot find players in rounds 2-7 and free agency, you have tge wrong GM.
  9. We should be able to land Minshew cheaply if they are willing to trade him. If he works out, Great! If he doesn't, then we go all in next year and having Minshew as a backup is better than the current situation.
  10. I always support the Minshew and trade back idea, but not sure i can get on board with Darnold. Just not sure i can get behind the cost for him on a trial run.
  11. Coming into this season he was a projected 1st round pick. I know he had an injury early, and it seems some questioned his effort when he came back.
  12. Unless we get a steal of a deal in free agency, we should be able to draft a replacement. Christian Barmore Davison Nixon Levi Onwuzurike Marvin Wilson Jaylen Twyman Jay Tufele Tedarrell Slaton Tyler Shelvin Darius Stills Alim McNeill
  13. Not saying he can't play CB any longer, but he is obviously not as good as he once was. I wonder if he would consider playing FS. I think he could make the move successfully like Rod Woodson did years back
  14. This is a good point of view. Hopefully if the Panthers have called, it is just due diligence at this point to let Miami know we MAY have interest. If there is a trade, I don't expect it until we get closer to draft day, heck it may be draft day. If evaluate and want to pursue a QB, we probably trade. If not, then hopefully we don't get desperate
  15. Not to mention that if we did like him we would say this to deter other teams. AKA as a smokescreen
  16. Yes you would definitely want to turn over every rock possible. In contrast, my favorite is Spencer Rattler who has amazing arm talent and can make all the throws. In fact, if you take all of the QB's in this draft and next year, I have Rattler #2 only behind Trevor.
  17. Okay, yeah I actually couldn't remember the situation, but this reminded me. I still believe the coach at Oregon has something to do with his transfer. Like you said, that guy really held Herbert back, and I believe the same happened to Shough last year. I feel if Shough finds the right situation he will be at least the 3rd ranked QB in next years draft behind Rattler and Howell. Funny that Herbert was also considered #3 last year.
  18. Yes, and maybe that comparison to Ronnie Stanley money is concerning. Love Moton and willing to pay him, but Stanley is getting top end LT money. Maybe Moton wants Stanley money and Panthers are stuck at top end RT money. Glad Hurney is gone, he would say Stanley money? Hold my beer
  19. I can see that point of view, but also understand from his angle. At UNC he would sit behind Howell and not play. At Oregon, as you said, some coaches cannot vary from the "muh system" thinking. I think the red flag could be unfolded, just not ready to fly it high yet.
  20. They didn't, and treated Shough the same way. Shough has now decided to transfer
  21. Rivera, Hurney, and Polian Jr. all working for Dan Snyder. Get the popcorn out boys, this will be fun to watch.
  22. We probably did check with them. We probably offered Teddy for Wentz straight up. They hung up
  23. We almost had a deal with Houston. Turns out they had no 1st round pick to add to Watson for Teddy.
  24. Found a Miami board, and their fans are talking trade down with a couple teams. The Panthers deal I saw several times was picks 8, 40, and 2022 1st for pick 3
  25. Other than the 4 QB's or Sewell/Slater? Chase, Smith, Waddle, Pitts, Parsons, Surtain, Farley, and Rousseau are all possibilities at this point. I think we will have a clearer picture as we approach April.
