Cam and Lamar really blurred fans vision when it comes to QB evaluation. Every time they see some gun slinging, fast, agile, running QB they think Cam! Lamar! Soooooooooo much more goes into it than that.

being more intrigued by AR than Levis tells me everything I need to know -
Scott Fitterer.... let's grade his drafts and FA signings

hahaha some of your evaluations on here has me thinking you're not really paying attention during games. I know you're usually at games so you probably don't realize who is making what play vs when you watch on TV and they replay it and highlight the player though. -
Staley probably sees Foreman as his Blount in Carolina.

I'm not sure how long you've been watching football for but there is literally no way to determine if a player is a "franchise QB". Guys go number one and bust, guys go in the late rounds and are HOFers. You need to make attempts to draft your guy though and the best success rate according to actual data is to take them early. -
I think we should shift gears and discuss trading up to #3 rather than #1

no team / organization in the history of sports is already defaulting to net years draft to solve their need. LMFAO -

Last three top 10 picks: Icky OL Horn CB Brown DT At what point do we draft a QB? First round TE's don't work, you get those in rounds 3-5. Check the best ones draft spots. -

why lmao? so we can draft another CB or Receiver? Let's get a fugging QB bro. -
I believe the Bears will stay put and go defense, while the Texans should be rolling with Young. We should be focusing on trading up with the Cardinals at #3. It should only take #9, one of our 2nd's and a 2024 1st. We've traded with AZ already this year. The Bears will simply want too much and it would be unnecessary IMO. Stroud or Levis will be available and the Panthers can roll with whoever they believe is their guy. After the press conference yesterday, Reich and Fitterer's comments...I think we're trading up for sure.

Frank Reich's Intro Presser - Today, Noon EST
GOAT replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
you know what I was just thinking? Did McDermott ever come out saying Ron Rivera was falsely fired here? Did he ever take time during a post game win to say his former HC's firing was not warranted like Siriani did for Reich? Also, has Sean made it to a SB yet? -
Report. Panthers pivoting from Shane Steichen

oh my god thank you. I can't fugging stand that kid. -
which coach did you want? Reich brought the Colts to multiple playoffs even with musical chairs at QB. He also won a Super Bowl with Nick Foles as his QB running the Eagles offense. Not to mention, his OC from his coaching tree is coaching in the Super Bowl this weekend and was one of many that passionately advocated that his firing was a farce.

god imagine thinking tanking is real

The "running QB" has a huge opportunity this Super Bowl

Super Bowl QB's have always been known to have pocket presence, some with some ability to escape. For the most part though, you're seeing a guy stand tall in the pocket and deliver passes rather than juking guys out and bruising into the end zone. Our own Cam Newton couldn't get it done, and continued the conversation of "can a dual threat QB win the Super Bowl?". Yes, Russ and Mahomes have some wheels and can create some circus plays with their feet - but after watching Hurts yesterday I can safely say I haven't seen a bruising / running QB like that since Cam. Hurts can definitely sling it, but if he's able to win a super bowl with his gifted legs - it may put the old stereo type to bed that that sort of QB can't win a Super Bowl. Makes you open to a QB like Richardson perhaps, if a team can cater their playbook to that style and obviously execute in the other departments - it may be the new recipe to success.

damn American team is going to clap cheeks.

tanking does not exist. it's a theory created by fans when they think their team is losing on purpose to get a good draft spot. teams don't tank, these guys all have to play / coach their hardest to earn their checks / contract increases / job security. trading key players for draft picks is not tanking, it's smart financially and helps rebuild the team.
