  1. Watson doesn’t want to come here and won’t waive his no-trade clause for us. If Rhule isn’t fired after this season I’d actually rather have us trade 3 1st round picks for Watson if he changed his mind. Rhule knows 2022 is his last chance and will waste our first round pick on Kenny Pickett, he’ll trade away 2023’s first as well to get players he thinks will help him win now. Hell, he might trade away our entire 2023 draft. I’d rather have Watson and his troubles then see what Rhule will do without him. WE NEED RHULE GONE ASAP!!!
  2. Let’s not forget Ellis Williams. That guy has been calling Rhule out on his B.S. since he started covering us around week 7. He even reads this forum and has quoted stuff from here in his work.
  3. I agreed with everything you said until I read the word culture. I’ve grown to hate that word because of Rhule and I never want to hear it again.
  4. I agree, let’s fire Rhule. He’s an embarrassment and everyone has grown tired of his shtick.
  5. If Rhule is involved at all, we will suck in year 3. That guy could screw up a wet dream.
  6. I said someone like Bill Cowher. If he had someone lined up they’re obviously not coaching now, that would be tampering. Cowher is in his early 60s and lives in NC. Dick Vermeil was like 150 when he came back.
  7. Mike Florio wrote on Wednesday that it could be that Tepper already knows who Rhule’s replacement will be and will wait until after the season to can Rhule and hire his guy. It could be that Tepper has talked to someone like Bill Cowher and already has his next couple of steps lined up. Tepper was a brilliant hedge fund manager and now runs more of a family office. The Panthers are his primary focus and there’s no reason to think he can’t figure this out.
  8. Part of me thinks he might be upset, the other part thinks he’s laughing his ass off.
  9. Don’t think we’re close to contending next year but as I stated in my prior post, if we fix the o-line in the draft and get a new coaching staff, we can get to .500 next season. That’s 2 or 3 more wins than this season with the same players plus using our draft picks on lineman. With better coaching and lineman we could’ve beaten the likes of the Giants, Eagles and probably the Vikings at home. Once our coaching and o-line situation improved we could attract a better QB in free agency or a trade and be contenders in 2023. 2023 is not next season.
  10. The new head coach will not be walking into a top 5 pick next season. Rhule will trade away our 2023 picks to try and save his ass for 2022. We need to get rid of him now and hit re-start on the rebuild. Draft o-line this year and trade or sign a QB in 2023. Right now guys like Watson and Stafford don’t want to come here because our coaches, scheme and line suck. With the current roster plus a real coach and better line we’ll be .500 next season and might make the playoffs. We can then attract a better QB in 2023 to become a legitimate contender.
  11. As a Liberty grad who’s enjoyed watching Malik play, I love that comparison.
  12. If Rhule gets fired and the new coach doesn’t run a 3-4, I wouldn’t be surprised if we traded Burns and YGM replaces him.
  13. If Rhule is here I’d rather stay where we are and pick the best o-lineman. Rhule will pick a quarterback at 6/7 of course to try and save his job.
  14. Neal will most likely be gone and the only way we move back into the top of the second is to trade next year’s first, DJ or Burns. Nobody wants CMC’s contract.
  15. This coaching staff can’t develop $hit.
  16. They’re calling him the best center prospect in forever. It would help us tremendously to have 1 stud somewhere on the line like Nelson did for the Colts. I think it’s adorable that people on here think we can find a trade partner to move back in the 1st and he’ll still fall in our laps.
  17. The center from Iowa is getting picked top 10 in every mock draft I’ve seen. We might as well take him or a Tackle at 6/7 and come out of this with someone that can help us.
  18. I would agree but from signing Teddy to their attempts to trade for Stafford and Watson and the Darnold trade should give all of us an idea how important it is to them to get a franchise QB. We’re going QB and might even trade up to get one. Contrast that with our O-line, our FO doesn’t think we need to use high draft picks there.
  19. Kenny Pickett will be our 22nd starter. Tepper wants the coach, GM, QB trifecta. Look at all the desperate moves we’ve made at the QB position. All of us want to fix the o-line first but we’re taking Pickett if he’s there. Maybe if we change our blocking schemes and move on from this basic offense some of the o-lineman will get better. Every lineman has taken a big step backwards this season. I’m hoping a new offense fixes those problems because unless Pickett is taken before us, we’re not picking any lineman in the first round.
  20. I’ll second that and it’s helpful to know what led us to this point. I seriously would like to know what Rhule’s plan is for fixing our O-Line and offense.
  21. I’ll call mine “Lil’ Process LLC” and expect my money to grow a 1,000% even if no one can see it. I figure it’ll take me 7 years to achieve those returns because that’s how long it took Jay-Z to be an overnight success.
  22. Rhule would’ve actually fixed a problem if he had simply focused on the line. Everything broke our way but he’s so incompetent he screwed it up. I’d love to know how involved Fitt was on those blunders.
  23. That would also make sense but he played for Rhule at Temple and has bought in on the “process.”
  24. Of course we don’t know what we have in Brown yet but Trey looks great. Rhule is so arrogant he thought we were all set at OL and passed on a gift that fell in his lap for frigging Fletcher. We could’ve had Slater and Humphrey, two rookie Pro Bowlers over Horn and the invisible TMJ. Still picked BC as a LG or swing tackle and Brown and Smith in the 6th round.
