  1. Possessions change just as frequently in soccer as it does in hockey. I don’t understand why that is a negative. The constant change of possession is what makes hockey so much fun to watch. But to each his own. I actually am liking hockey more these days. I used to be a hardcore UNC basketball fan but I have fallen off these last 2 seasons and I really couldn’t be bothered to watch this season. Hornets are who they always will be a meh to bad team but fans of them will continue to be hopeful for more. I respect that.
  2. I am all for taking a QB in this draft as long as it is not in the first. I would feel a lot better if we were able to get a lower 1st and a mid to high 2nd. Draft the best OL in the 1st and get a QB to red shirt till 2023 or not. Honestly this is one of the most boring and uninteresting drafts since 2011. Honestly I don’t care who we draft.
  3. Solid piece. Glad he isn’t going anywhere.
  4. Getting a stud OL in draft or if we draft a QB, him proving the doubters wrong(Like myself) and showing franchise QB potential.
  5. What does that matter? What I said still counts. We could make it in 5 years or 50 we have no idea. As of right now I would put my money on 10+ years or more. Unless somehow this team actually gets it's act together and surprises us.
  6. Honestly, I think it will be a very long time. 2003 and 20015 Super Bowl were 12 years apart, and our sister expansion team has never made it in the 27 years of their existence. We have been very fortunate, but we are a small market team so we aren't going to be able to build a super team like some other larger market teams. All we can hope is we draft well, develop players well, sign players that address weaknesses, and get hot when the time is right. Like the Bengals did and our 2003 Panthers did. Realistically both never should of even sniffed the Super Bowl. But it is hard to make the Super Bowl man, I would love to make it again but there is a real chance it could be 5 years or 50 years. Ya, never know.
  7. Well that was anti-climatic. I hate saying, "They'll be back" because we have no idea. Bengals missed their chance. Who knows if they will get another.
  8. I guarantee one of these QBs from this draft will be good and surprise doubters. Always is, usually. All we can do is hope we are the ones to get lucky if we draft a QB.
  9. I mean I agree. I never said I believed in that. Because I don't. But the Bengals made it to the Super Bowl with a bad line. So I assume most people who say that mean a franchise QB can rise above a bad line. I doubt most people actually believe you can make a Super Bowl with a bad o-line and a mediocre QB. I sure as heck don't. But could the Panthers make a Super Bowl with an actual franchise QB and a bad o-line. Possibly.
  10. They are still in the Super Bowl. They are winning. Stop being stupid.
  11. If we draft a QB I will support him. Been watching some highlight of Willis and Pickett and both are raw. If we draft one of them I would red shirt him for a year. Which I fully support. That said, Rhule probably won’t do that since he will likely be fighting for his job and if he thinks the rookie gives him the best chance to win now he will start. I think a rookie QB will surprise this season. Would be cool to be proven wrong in my thinking of the current QBs.
  12. Kinda feel sorry for whatever coach comes after Rhule. Depleted team and possibly a bust at QB. I definitely think we could win 3 or less games next season. My question is if we draft a QB, like Pickett, and we get the 1st overall pick and a college QB shows to be special and NFL ready do we draft another QB in 2022 even with Pickett or whoever? Will we have a Josh Rosen situation on our hands?
  13. Even if we get Pickett or some other QB I will try to think positively. He can't be as bad as Darnold and he won't be damaged goods like Darnold. Also, and this is more personal, Google won't tell me I am spelling Arnold, Darnel or Donald wrong. Rhule knows that he is on limited time and that mean desperation. So he will draft a QB thinking that if they can fix the O-line in free agency and later draft picks maybe he will win enough to stay for another year. Unfortunately our cap space isn't that great and after we pay whatever players I doubt we will have enough to get any offensive lineman worth anything. This offseason is gonna suck.
  14. Sam’s line was terrible but the team around him and the defense were good enough to have a much better record than they did. If Sam is the starter in 2022 he will be a liability. A good line or better team isn’t gonna make him magically not do boneheaded crap.
  15. Unfortunately us fans have to pay by watching Darnold play terribly next year. Feel like fans are just as screwed.
  16. Agree. Perfect situation is trade down to 10-15th and get a 1st and second. Draft Pickett or best QB and best OL available. But more than likely, like a lot of teams, if they think the player/QB they want may be gone by 10 to 15th they will jump the gun. Depends what QB needy teams are after us and what those teams may select.
  17. Also having a franchise QB and star-in-the-making WR help too.
  18. Man, weren’t they wrong. Horn will likely be a good CB, but woosh on the Sam Darnold thing.
  19. I know a lot of people will not like it but I really do think we’ll take a QB at 6th. Use free agency and the rest of our picks to hopefully to improve the OL. We
