    I haven’t sat down and watched a game, like gave it my full attention, in 4 years. So I will have it on but it will be more background noise and the occasional check in.

    Reich did say that he likes QBs to be in the 6 foot range during off-season interviews before the draft but Bryce is special.

    Oh believe you me. I had a feeling this was gonna be rough. But the panthers media tried so hard to make it not seem so bad. People are saying we will be able to get some weapons for Bryce during the next offseason I don’t know if I trust Fitt to do that or for Reich to utilize them properly. Playcalling has been so, so bad.

    Yeah Burrow drafted 2020. Super Bowl 2022. Didn’t need 3 years. Doesn't matter. Team media still has to share some of the blame for unrealistic expectations. My expectations have always been low. But as I have said before I never anticipate the team would look as bad and inept as they have on offense even with a rookie QB.

    People may have understood but I don’t think anyone could have predicted how utterly horrible the season has begun and the preseason actually being a good representation of how this team is.

    The team was hyping themselves up. We all saw all the videos and interview and articles from the local media and team media.

    But they made it in 2 years.

    Yeah 2025. So we gotta deal with another season of this crap.

    So pretty much I’ll be in my forties before the Panthers are good again. Friggen great.

    I just wish I could see some semblance of downfield accuracy.

    Yeah but more of those accurate passes are screens and short yardage. His long pass accuracy has been pretty atrocious. But at least he is overthrowing and not under throwing right?

    Keep that positive attitude. See if it is still there by week 17.

    That is what sucks. There is nothing to look forward to at the end of the year. We have no reward for sucking.

    Maybe and maybe when he is given the job he sucks just as much as Reich since bother retread HC and interim HC have about as much success. Which usually is not very much.

    It is just amazing how I felt nothing yesterday. No disappointment, no anger, nothing. I miss getting so angry or excited at the tv when something amazing or infuriating happened. I think I am truly lethargic and it feels horrible.

    I hoped that Reich would build an offense around Bryce’s strengths. Seems like that was to much to hope for. Never saw an offensive version of Rivera/Fox but here we are.

    Doesn’t make me feel better that our first overall QB needs a perfect team around him to succeed. That is the same excuses people made about Sam Darnold. He would be good if the team around him was.

    I wish people would stop referencing Darnold last year like he had some come to Jesus moment with Wilks. Any person with a lick of sense would see that Wilks and co did everything they could to make Darnold not a factor because they couldn’t trust him. Also the Saints game.
