    I'd play him primarily at CB, his money position, and sprinkle him in at WR.

    Started the trend of quitting on your teammates before a Bowl Game. Sandbagged it with the Panthers when he realised we weren't winning poo - loads of soft tissue injuries to keep him out of games. Eventually we had to trade him.

    2 first round picks for a player you were unwilling to spend half your cap space on. Seems a decent, if not ideal, deal.

    We only fielded about 4 NFL calibre players on that unit last year.

    Agree to disagree. Neither was the most qualified candidate on the market that offseason. Both conceded to Tepper's demands to try and rescue Young in return for a job as an NFL HC and GM. They screwed it up when they traded the world for Young - but anyone with a brain knew that.

    So you're paying franchise DL money to guy who you just hope can occupy two blockers and not give up ground? Seems unwise.

    Nah, he's not big enough to be a 3-4 NT and realistically it's a waste of his skills. He's tailor made to be a 4-3 DT or a 3-4 DE.

    Allen was borderline unplayable in College. He's an absolute unicorn in terms of his career panning out the way it has.

    They threw him to the wolves. He needed to sit a year and rework his footwork. I wanted to sit at #9 and take him if he fell (he obviously didn't) - I didn't envision him being so fragile.

    Wasn't he an excellent DC? (which is why he kept getting HC interviews despite failing at his first few)

    Young was weighed and measured at the Combine. They don't lie there.

    I'd trade for someone for sure. Trey Lance maybe? Going into the season with just Bryce Young as your QB is suicide.

    He would have had to be prime Tom Brady from the get go to be worth what we paid for him. We're just hoping he can be somewhat serviceable now. His physical limitations mean the O is always going to be operating with a strait jacket on.
