Disagree with this fully. real fans will never leave and are smart enough to realize what needs to happen. Fair-weather fans will be the first ones back when this team starts winning again. The only thing that will cause irreparable damages is staying status quo and playing musical chairs with god awful quarterbacks. The true fans will lose their passion and walk away. We were seeing that with Matt Rhule. believe me. Getting destroyed every game the rest of this season will not kill this franchise. My fellow fans from the beginning have been through a ton with this franchise and are still here. If we can make it through Rae Carruth, the Fred Lane tragedy, The Kerry Collins drama, the Sean Gilbert trade, George Seifert, losing 15 games in a row, Marty Hurney 1.0, Steve Smith punching Ken Lucas, the John Fox lame duck year, Jerry Richardson punting a season for the good of the shield, Andrew Luck spurning the Panthers and going back to college, Gettleman cutting Steve Smith, Getttleman rescinding the franchise tag from Josh Norman, Jerry Richardson bringing back the idiot Marty Hurney, Greg Hardy, Jerry Richardson being a creep trying to shave employees legs, the absurd treatment of Cam Newton and cutting him, Teddy Bridgewater, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfiled, and the entire Matt Rhule era then we will al survive tanking the rest of this season.

I hope the panthers lose every game the rest of the year 462-0. Any win would be devastating to the future of this franchise.

As bad of a take as I’ve seen on here. Tepper has been nothing short of a dumpster fire since getting here. He acted like a child in press conference yesterday. Fowler called him out on his BS. Best piece of writing by the local media on this franchise in a decade.

Amazing. Local sports media finally holds crappy owner accountable and thread turns into a discussion about a fired soccer coach for a team who’s been around 1 season. Maybe this fan base deserves what it gets.

Just not sure how someone reads that entire article and comes away with Fowler was wrong for bringing up the firing of the soccer coach. The big picture is is he’s now fired 3 coaches mid season and is on his 6th total coach. He’s on 2 gms and multiple team presidents. He has had to major projects fall through. even if this soccer coach sucked, Tepper still hired him. The only constant in this is Tepper.

Some people in this fan base are just completely clueless. This article was long over due and honestly should have been much more scathing, but give Scott credit, someone finally called out this owner. this is all you can ask from your local media. To hold the incompetent ones in power accountable, but yet many in this thread are bashing Fowler. Laughable the mindset of some who root for this team. unfollow and go follow the will Kunkels, joe persons, David newtons, and who ever the observer is employing on the beat this week of the worlds. Yup very bleak. We have a guy with a communications background pushing for the Missouri defensive coordinator to be the next head coach of this team and Tepper is listening to it. My god we’re screwed.

Today is a great day. We should all be celebrating the firing of the worst coach to ever step foot in Charlotte. Yes, there is no doubt in my mind that Rhule was worse than seifert, and that is saying a lot. with that all said, there is still a long way to go and stuff to be concerned about. David Tepper didn’t come off looking great in his press conference. The QB position is still an absolute mess. but the single biggest concern I have is something jason la canfora wrote this morning. He has sources telling him that Steven Drummond is the most influential person in the building and compared him to Jack Easterby. That is a huge problem. I’ve heard all of the good stories about Steven Drummond, and I am sure he is a great guy, but he doesn’t have a personnel background. I fail to see how he is qualified to be making critical football decisions for this franchise. This franchise continues to rely on the Hurneys and Drummonds of the world, who do not have personnel backgrounds, while other franchises are pouring resources into finding the most innovative football minds in the sport. also, it is never a good thing to be compared to jack Easterby. The many has been in the center of all of the Texans dysfunction over the past few years. For every step forward Tepper takes, he immediately ends up taking 3 more back.

Tepper should never have kept Hurney. He should’ve hired a GM and let him choose the coach. Instead he did it ass backwards. I have no idea if Fitterer is a good GM or not because he has Rhule and Tepper anchored to him, but I don’t care. Clean house, start over, and do it the right way. hire a search firm to find the next general manager. Give him 100% freedom to build his front office as fit and hire whoever he wants as head coach. Then him and the coach are on the same clock unlike it is now. The way this season is going they will also be in position to pick the next franchise QB as well.

Jerry Richardson is a god awful human being. No matter how terrible Davis Tepper is, no one should miss Richardson. With that said, Tepper is as bad of an owner that there is in sports.

last season was the first time ever. this year i couldnt care less. never in my life did i think it would get to this point. i blame tepper. i blame rhule. i blame the charlotte media.

I’ve been screaming this for years and nothing changes. david Newton and joe person are two of the worst beat guys in the country. i have no idea who does what for the observer these days. It is just a revolving door. Steve reed never recovered from losing all that sleep at the hands of cam Newton. Mac and Bone are nothing more than bias cheerleaders who do nothing but reference PFF. Still get a good laugh at a month back when they were ripping fans about DJ Moore (who I like a lot) calling them idiots for having issues with his lack of TDs. Then TBone was defiant saying everyone was an idiot for not repeating all of the rushing touchdowns he produces. He was mixing up rushing TDs with rushing first downs. But yes the callers are the idiots. kyle Bailey is a lost cause. The hornets and panthers can go the next decade without winning a game and he won’t say a negative word as long as he keeps getting those Mitch kupchak interviews. I just found this guy nata on twitter and my god he is lost. there just isn’t a lot of hope. This city is content with mediocrity. They have 2 poor franchises and 2 awful owners and 2 franchises with a combined zero championships. There is no accountability. Just an overall piss poor sports media.
