  1. Ask yourself this. Why does Bryce Young still look as ineffective throwing deep as he did back in fanfest at BOA when he Corral and Dalton all went through the same passing drills and both looked better than him throwing deep? Remind me. Where is Corral right now?
  2. Why are we attacking OP? We are 0-6 our only points in 3 quarters were from the defense and we got blown out again but we're celebrating a positive PFF grade? This is why we can't talk about Bryce Young.
  3. Looks like the huddle is getting plenty of clicks. But there are people here who simply will not tolerate others not following the carefully crafted narrative that tiptoes around Bryce Young having basically zero deep passing ability.
  4. How could you not remember telling other people they are being unreasonable for being critical of Tepper? We aren't talking about politics we are talking about your own posts. You're doing the same thing now that you did when asked about past remarks over a certain WR we traded that you also emphatically denied. You think having a quality and state of the art practice facility wouldn't have some level of impact on the team?
  5. Everyone says they're a Tepper critic now and he's the worst meddler in the league. Very entertaining.
  6. Just as recent as earlier in the year you were defending him for the Rock Hill fiasco among other things.
  7. Held scoreless for 3 whole quarters but only "dummy" fans screaming for the deep ball think there's a problem
  8. My friend. We're only interacting because you got ants in your pants over PFF of all things. You quoted me. I'm no different than anyone else. Everyone here is wrong a time or another. See Matt Rhule and the majority of the huddle who thought we made the splash of the offseason hiring him. If you want to exit the convo thinking you're big and tough and handing out L's like an online olympian that's perfectly fine my guy. By all means celebrate your internet win. Maybe get you a slice of cake from Harris Teeter to mark the occasion.
  9. Yeah someone in NYC is going to be feeling the heat soon. But do you remember when Giants fans complained for years about Tom Coughlin? What have they done since? Just like with us. Be careful what you wish for.
  10. Hell no I wouldn't be hands off but I wouldn't be in the draft room on the phone line with every prospect prodding my GM and coach to pick this or that guy or make this trade up because even though I flap my gills a ton here I am not a GM. I would hire someone who has been in that position and has had success to find me the people who don't need me in their ear.
  11. It's good to hear you were favorable of Stroud's game. As such you know how important his arm talent and ability to zip pinpoint passes just about wherever he wanted was to his team at Ohio St. Much was said about his receivers being future hall of famers. But he's doing the same thing in Houston with a supporting cast that was an afterthought. Those same traits are there for anyone to see with the Texans. There were others like you who for some reason fell out of favor with Stroud even though nothing about his game changed. The only things that did were his S2 results whispers about his character from thin air and for some reason heat he took from Brady Quinn (lol) about not attending Manning's QB camp. I'm hoping Bryce in another season or two can reach that form physically. We'll see.
  12. It can be a strange league. You either adapt with it year to year or you are left behind. Some of it is just plain good or bad luck too. Look at what happened with Doug Pedersen even after winning a Super Bowl. As much as I think Frank Reich is a dinosaur and needs to leave I am under no illusions that even if we hire what looks like a good head coach after things can change quickly. One trait we need to be on the lookout for is stubbornness. Will to change and adapt should be one of our key expectations for the next man up.
  13. That's wild to me that Daboll's Giants are worse. What a fall from grace. David Tepper couldn't be bothered to give Shane Steichen an in person interview but fell head over heels for Matt Rhule and Frank Reich consecutively. Horrific.
  14. You made exactly 7 posts between March and the draft. Easy to show up after the fact saying this or that without having taken a stand on any prospect. Looks like you missed quite a bit. I can help you catch up if need be. All you have to do is ask.
  15. Man replied within a nanosecond You know where to find me when you want to talk about our franchise QB's numbers 🫡
  16. We both know why you only want to argue these semantics about PFF into oblivion and not discuss Bryce Young's season numbers. Weren't you one of those folks who dogged on CJ Stroud too?
  17. It isn't just Mahomes brother. Look at the the YPG numbers for the season in the NFL. Now look at us and how many times we throw the ball. Bryce Young despite all those attempts is only a hair above PJ Walker. *echo* PJ Walker. Yes Reich sucks. Yes we could have better weapons. But we have to get our #1 pick pushing the ball downfield or the blowout losses will continue.
  18. Dream scenario would be Thomas Brown taking over and guiding Bryce Young to a borderline rookie of the year 2nd half of the season performance while Reich fades to the background and is eventually paid to walk away for personal reasons. Then I wake up of course.
  19. People are coping right into an asylum with these passing charts.
  20. What's untrue about the statement? The majority of the huddle does not like PFF now. Back when we were winning or at least competitive it was used as gospel. Through all the losing the last few years it's become a target of ridicule. Anywho. Is there any particular reason you only want to talk about PFF and not Bryce Young's season numbers?
  21. So you're saying another young QB has an OL worse than ours. And he's still producing?
  22. Mostly the PFF threads have been used to poo on Brian Burns from what I've seen. The cope in this thread is ridiculous though. Guys posting game by game passing charts for good or elite QB's and completely glossing over season numbers and where our #1 pick ranks in completion % YPA and YPG. And you want to talk to me about ulterior motives
  23. Oh cute more charts. Howell is still slinging it though. He's 9th in YPG.
  24. Brock Purdy without McCaffrey will be interesting to check in and see how he's doing. 2023 Daniel Jones is horrific and a cautionary tale for anyone developing a young QB. Daboll's status as the next hot name has pretty much cratered. Hurts is still probably the best the NFC has to offer but not in last years form. He's middle the pack in completion % but still within the top 11 in both YPA and YPG. Bryce Young is 24th in completion % 33rd in YPA and 22nd in YPG. Individual game charts only tell part of the story unfortunately and are often used here to cope.
