He's a backup at best same as the other two quarterbacks on our roster. This desperate need to make Sam seem less awful is downright pitiful when you consider Jets fans did this exact routine for literal years and could tell you firsthand how ridiculous you sound. Accept reality and stop shitposting.

We were the only team foolish enough to give up what we did for him last year and we bid against ourselves. No way on Earth anyone gives up more than a 4th or 5th to take him off our hands and even that would be very generous.

The secondary has been getting lit up all along including the corner we gave up a third round pick for.

If someone wants to be a homer more power to them but this defense has been getting gashed throughout the second half of the season so acting like this "bitching" only began recently is being disingenuous.

Huh? I saw the defense we have used significant resources on including an entire draft let a washed up running back waltz right into the end zone.

He does things the right way. For some that's always been enough. They rode with Kyle Allen until the bitter end too.

Meh. We made our decision and it was for the best. It was time to part ways and Ron seems different after moving on. We just as usual went about the after part all wrong. All you can do is hope Tepper is learning something through all this but who knows.
