Only on the huddle does someone chime in trying to speak up for Kirk Cousins lmao. Guys you don't have to shield mediocrity anymore it's a new day. Old habits die hard I guess.
-
That's ten million too much to watch him throw a pass short of the sticks with the game on the line.

Everyone in and around the league saw the end of that playoff game against the Giants. It's hilarious they would even think a team would want to sign up for that for his contract.
-
Saints and it isn't very close honestly.
-
Looking at our first two games I think we can go ahead and dispense with the early notion that the league will make us one of their favorites because we drafted Bryce. They'll keep shitting on us until we make them respect us. Hopefully that will begin this summer.

Bryce Young Speaks With Panthers Legend Jake Delhomme
frankw replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
I love Cam as much as anyone. But you don't introduce him back into the locker room after drafting your new QB first overall and trading what you did in the process. It just isn't fair to Bryce or him. It would be like trying to bring back Delhomme in some capacity after selecting Cam first overall in 2011. You move on right now and honor Newton when the time comes and make no mistake he absolutely deserves that and it will be a great day for the Panthers. -
Good to hear the Panthers getting some love. It's nice to have Ryan Brees and now Brady out of the picture. If anyone thinks this might be an easy division though I would wait and see what the preseason brings. The Bucs could go either way but the Saints and Falcons will definitely test us.

53.9 pff grade in 2022 If he helps the locker room and is a good mentor cool. Just please don't let him start.
-
His play this season is fair game that's the way it goes for all Panthers players. But the trade was over 6 months ago. Complaining about it is beyond crying over spilt milk. It's no different than the two or three Panthers fans still angry we picked Bryce Young. The choice was made. Grow up and live with it.
-
This! After all the talk of supporting Bryce Young if and when he was the pick which clearly 99% of the fanbase is now doing the Burns doubters truly need to poo or get off the pot about the trade that never was. It's done live with the rest of us in the now.

Man we joke around with each other and trash talk here but that is off into another world. I can't imagine sinking so low in a time when we should be upbeat and hopeful after years of failures.

Andy Dalton is there to help ease his transition to the NFL. I imagine the first week or so of camp we'll see Young taking reps with the 2nd team offense and gradually moving to the 1st team. I trust the staff knows what they are doing given all they've invested.

Another one falls into the trap that is Sam Darnold
frankw replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
I must say after all the dissecting of the 2023 #2 overall pick it is wild to see folks still saying "this is the year!" about a 6th year quarterback who finished his last start with one of the ten worst passer ratings in the history of the league. -

Good luck with all that. Glad it isn't us. -
I was thinking about this game the other day when Jake Delhomme was talking about Bryce Young. Great memory and one of my favorite games.

Potential $1.2B Panthers stadium renovation discussion
frankw replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
Whether it's him or anyone else who may own the team it would make no sense to relocate given the market the team already resides in. That being said if the ten year minimum for this round of renovations is actually in writing and not a handshake deal that would likely garner more support. -

The same article mentions Nashville approving 2.1 billion for a new Titans stadium and Buffalo approving 1.4 billion for a new Bills stadium. So what's the lifespan going to be on these "renovations"? -

I just hope this doesn't go anything at all like the fiasco that was the new state of the art practice facility. Which btw it would be very nice to have one of those right about now for this new staff and roster after all we gave up for the opportunity to select first overall. -

Based on your stance here and past remarks blasting anyone not showing 100% unflinching positivity toward the team I'm guessing you take the sycophant approach to billionaire owners. -
I remember people complaining about Reddick's run defense too. Now they wish we had kept him. We need situational pass rush help still if possible. Evero will have different packages. There will inevitably be an adjustment period either way with the switch to 3-4 we should be prepared for that anyway.

Are folks really digging that deep into the phone call? Kinda sad tbh.
