  1. Complain about the QB class complain about not wanting Watson some fans don’t know what they want. No matter what we have to take a chance and make a choice. I'd rather just roll the dice on Malik.
  2. Charlotte sports is just one big OOF these days
  3. Robby still doesn't affect DJ and he can be traded easily. Even the Patriots know this team is a dumpster fire and Robby isn't as bad as last year would indicate. You have people shitting on Moore too. Now all of that is an effect that rippled through the whole team. From Sam Darnold. It's why Anderson was all smiles even at the sight of a known washed version of Cam Newton. Even at a shell of himself he brought more energy than Sam could ever hope for. Everything else was doomed to be tainted eventually when we made that dumb trade for him and picked up his option like we were geniuses.
  4. It's crazy that the Broncos have a SB trophy already in the last decade at our expense and they're giving up a haul for a known elite quarterback while we swung for the fences at Sam fuging Darnold and with a straight face the whole time like we really got ourselves a prize. And some fans still give the benefit of the doubt to these decision makers!
  5. At least they have a Super Bowl trophy to fall back on. We got nothing but sad memories. Fug em' let em' rot.
  6. Why are you so pressed over a former XFL QB? I didn’t want Sam Darnold and I'd love to get a real QB in here but we have donkeys for management who are scared to develop a rookie.
  7. I didn't think he would actually do it but damn good for him honestly. The Broncos had a solid team last year even with Teddy. Not good for us though that's for sure. The Seahawks just lost a future hall of famer because they couldn't build an oline around him and we hired a guy to be our GM who was there through the thick of it.
  8. Whining? He would be fighting for a 2nd or 3rd string spot on any other teams roster if he didn't go to Temple and you know it. Appreciate the input
  9. He'll have a seven million dollar cap hit in the final year of the contract but he has not been particularly good beyond his first year. If you get a real QB and do something with the oline people will have less to say about this. Those who choose to be a mouthpiece for the FO are free to express their takes the same as anyone who is a skeptic.
  10. Some Panthers fans could eat a poo sandwich and convince themselves it was filet mignon. I don't think anyone was arguing it was a cap killer kind of contract but the production has not been there nor the consistency. So in that regard another on brand Panthers deal from the same team that made it first priority to get PJ Walker under a new contract.
  11. Seems like the team is making it pretty clear Darnold is done here. Besides there is no scenario where Sam plays "good" through a full season. He is the same QB he was in NY and USC. Let it go. Even Jets fans are laughing at this pipe dream.
  12. I was kidding around but my goodness you've really leaned into this. Just put on the Falcons gear already geez.
  13. For all the Ridley fanboys...
  14. @CPantherKing Still better than DJ Moore right?
  15. If your best player is an oft injured running back your team was never worth watching anyways.
  16. For a first absolutely. We can ask for that but doesn't mean it will happen due to the injuries. The Texans are doing the same thing with Watson. Just because you want it doesn't mean there will be a buyer.
  17. So endless restructures are good again right? For years we were told it would spell our doom. Seems like same old Hurney to me.
  18. It was the kind of move you make on Madden just because you can and you're bored. Who needs draft picks?
  19. But no one would rail their contracts save for a few ignoramuses because they are elite franchise quarterbacks that are very difficult to replace. As long as it isn't a career changing injury most would realize we'll be back next year. But without one of those what is there to look forward to? Oh we have one of the best backs in football when he's healthy? Great we still can't win more than five games even when he is on pace to break the record on RB touches. We can't keep thinking like it's the eighties or the nineties. I don't have any beef with Shaq the contract is what it is but if you're asking me it would be best to direct that money to the Dline when the contract ends. OL and DL are the bread and butter. I don't want to trade DJ or CMC but if it is keeping one or the other I will pick WR each time. I am in complete agreement with you about the management. Taking swings at quarterback isn't the problem it is how they have gone about it. We had three opportunities to go for one in the draft since Cam fully hit the injury wall in the 2019 season. It should have been done and over with by now. But we made our first order of business retaining players on a losing team similary to what we did in 2010. We got the same results too.
  20. Why are you comparing him to HOF QB's? That's the most important position you can't just replace one but an RB out on the other hand should not sink your whole season. I get you're a CMC superfan but we should have traded him when his value was the highest in 2020 it's not just about the contract but missed value overall after investing a top 10 pick as well. Now we're just waiting for the other shoe to drop. Shelf life is what it is and through two staffs they have rode him into the ground. But what's done is done. We need a QB and a real OL and I would trade a running back ten times out of ten if it meant getting to that goal. I hope you feel the same.
  21. I get where you're coming from but he went for the payday. You wouldn't do the same? We weren't going to offer him anywhere near that. Nothing in this league is guaranteed when you get the chance to maximize your deal you take it. But I damn sure would not break the bank for him now.
  22. There would be hope if the decision makers had not wasted half our draft and 19 million in cap space this year on the worst quarterback in the league. Just having all of our draft picks would offer more to discuss. But nope
  23. Valid. But in relation to DG you could argue it did and then it didn't. The unraveling of a Super Bowl team began with the 2016 offseason and man did we blow it and Dave was the biggest part of that personnel wise. On the coaching end I don't think enough can be said about the loss of McDermott and Ron hiring and promoting his pals.
  24. Any kind of statement would at least be seen as a sign of goodwill. For me the biggest thing is the silence after how eager he was to speak to the media about Cam back in 2020. You were all about finding a microphone then and speaking for the franchise but you can't say a word now? Just looks inconsistent.
  25. Fair point. But that experience does not always equate to success. Dave Gettleman had scouting experience dating back to mid eighties and he was still fired from two GM positions with the second one definitely not going well at all. Just a few bad decisions can sink a ship that's the business.
