Looks like we need a real NFL caliber offensive coordinator. But that will only help so much with the issues we are seeing now the team looks unmotivated and they couldn't even be bothered to put up a fight against a bad 1 win Giants team. I know we have no real option in the short term but it seems clear rn the team is and has lost confidence in the starting qb and it is only going to get worse as the season goes on.

You are correct there is no quick fix but if we have an opportunity to draft a replacement and move on from McCaffrey we will have to reluctantly consider this. Those cap hits the next couple of years only get worse and you can't ignore trends both him and Saquon have been banged up a lot and the Giants didn't even need him or their top three receivers to make quick work of us. As others have said it isnt the 80's anymore you need someone other than an rb to be your leader.

Why are you dying on a hill like this for the front office? Yes they have added some nice talent in different spots and they have gotten credit for that. But the disaster that has been this season was avoidable and it falls squarely on Rhule and Fitterer. Can you say you are not at all concerned about their ability to identify a good quarterback? Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold in consecutive seasons is....really bad.

I could be wrong but I think earlier this year there was discussion about the front office and the gist of it was Rhule ultimately has final say. It would be interesting to know who pushed more for that contract. I think we can make a reasonable assumption.

I get what he's saying you should always have a degree of skepticism with things like this. But it's just information and we live in a time when said information moves at an instantaneous pace. We're all adults and can choose what we want to believe though.

After going 3-0 our defense has given up 433 yards to the Cowboys 571 yards to the Vikings and 302 yards to the Giants. They actually played well enough for us to win against the Eagles but beyond that game our defense has not been really good. Sad truth.
