  1. Lol read bro... read. Im not the one you are arguing with. I was adding to YOUR argument. Donte/Gilmore/Bouye this year, Horn/Gilmore/Donte next
  2. Idk if the Jets or Saints have a WR1 (Thomas hurt) and I don't remember if Horn was on Cooks vs Texans
  3. Horn & Gilmore are Man (shutdown) corners. Its what they were drafted highly to do. However you can't say Donte hasn't taken strides and become a solid corner himself this season. Donte is more seasoned than Horn, but Horn has the more physical body and upside talent to have a better career. And obviously Gilmore's resume speaks for itself.
  4. The worst part is they were experiencing OL injuries during the game. Backups came in and still got the job done. Shame
  5. Well if its either play him now or play it safe to prolong his career... prolong his career please. And Donte had one bad game this year. I understand trying to make the adjustment/switch midgame, but not now. Before this game we were already expecting Gilmore to be our shutdown corner and we expected us to ease him in. Stay on course.
  6. Trolling should be effortless & easy. Essentially the whole "im not touching you, finger in the face" thing. If you can troll with one or two words, you've done good.
  7. Ohh... have you not heard of THE Samuel Darnold. The most Darnold of Darnold's.
  8. Idk if anyone noticed, but on one play Rivera took a delay of game and punted instead of letting Joey Slye attempt a 50 yd. field goal. Even though he has a 56 yarder on his resume. They even showed Slye frustrated like he didn't have his coaches trust. It was funny, but I guess he had the last laugh.
  9. Hmm. I didn't notice that. Nice catch. I did see one specific play where Gilmore lined up on Terry, so i guess I just assumed (without taking notice) that gilmore would be on WR1 if he was on the field. I was watching on my iphone lol
  10. He'll be on another team in approx. 2 weeks
  11. Gilmore: limited snaps/role, will be playing larger role as weeks go by Horn: Hurt Bouye: Not sure if he would've shut down Terry, but maybe would've done more as donte had a bad game Keith Taylor: Had a bad game and don't feel comfortable putting him on WR1 CJ Hen: Had an pretty alright to good game. Don't feel comfortable putting him on WR1. Donte had a bad game but has put together plenty of good tape this year.
  12. Well those are paid network analysts and such. The fan love has always been there and never changed. But the narrative was we dropped cam because he no longer had the talent and was washed. Now he comes back healthy when the team "needs him". Its a storyline. NFL makes money off storylines and narratives.
  13. I saw lol, I wasn't trying to make it look/sound like i was going in on you. Just making a point for the thread. And honestly every player on our team under the position "DT" had a bad game
  14. Well do you want your QB pressured? Do you want your defensive players applying pressure or not? Our DTs didn't do their job. When they are creating pressure and taking up space sometimes forcing teams to put an extra man on them... thats when our edge guys feast and when they start to feast that's when our secondary fests. It all kind of fell apart when they ran the ball over our DTs
  15. Shows who won the battle of the trenches and seeing two CBs on the "worst of the defense" shows what happens when you lose in the trenches. Run game opens up and that opens up the pass game. Terrible defensive showing.
  16. Best of the offense 1. LT Brady Christensen (81.1) 2. RB Christian McCaffrey (76.1) 3. RG John Miller (74.6) 4. TE Tommy Tremble (73.6) 5. LT Dennis Daley (73.3) 5. QB Cam Newton (73.3) Worst of the offense 5. TE Ian Thomas (56.6) 4. FB Giovanni Ricci (55.3) 2. WR Terrace Marshall Jr. (52.3) 2. WR Brandon Zylstra (52.3) 1. LB Michael Jordan (41.2) Best of the defense 1. CB Stephon Gilmore (70.8) 2. DL Morgan Fox (69.6) 3. S Jeremy Chinn (67.5) 4. LB Shaq Thompson (64.7) 5. S Sean Chandler (61.2) Worst of the defense 5. CB Donte Jackson (37.5) 3. DT Derrick Brown (33.3) 3. DT Bravvion Roy (33.3) 2. DT DaQuan Jones (29.8) 1. CB Keith Taylor Jr. (28.6)
  17. Prioritize OL, but if a QB we like drops into say 3rd or 4th round, maybe we take him. I wouldn't mind, but I also wouldn't mind waiting to throw a pick at that 2023 draft class. Side Note: I have it set in my mind that we're trading back with our 1st pick in the draft.
  18. I think he is a senior. Honestly, he has been quiet for the most part. He had like 11 TDs to 5INTS before these two big games against Syracuse (209 pass yds 4td 0 int) & Duke (303 pass yds 5 td 224 rush yds 2 rush td). He was ranked maybe 9th prior to the duke game. Maybe some big games boost him. But not likely high. Would be a project QB, But with time I like the kid as a day 3 pick. I think he could learn a lot behind a Cam Newton if we end up keeping him longer (i think we will)
