  1. Let’s not forget that despite going 0-3 on QB trades he was in on the deals for Stafford, Wilson, and Watson. Watson- Not so impressive since return Stafford-SB, then bad, now hurt. Wilson- You already know.
  2. He’s the kind of teammate who motivates his teammates by telling them they can be as great as him one day.
  3. I’ve been saying since Rhule got fired, he needs to be out on his ass too. Henderson trade, Darnold trade, Mayfield trade/release, Jackson extension, Thomas extension, YGM, Nixon, Fletcher, Erving, Elflein, Anderson extension, trading away Perryman, Signing a Punter that don’t kick field goals last year. And all of this was Matt Rhule? Fitterer had no say on the matter?
  4. Yes they will. They will give you 7 wins one season and 11 the next for about 5 years. No more/ no less.
  5. No he wouldn’t. I really think with our OL and a few pieces we have on Defense any coach with a fair amount of NFL experience could have done what Wilks did. McAdoo or Tabor may have yielded similar results because Rhule was that horrible and firing him ended the chaos and they were able to be a normal team again.
  6. The division is lost, but if we come out next Sunday and beat the piss out of the Saints (Like 44-10 type game) to end the year I could see Tepper giving him a shot, plus he has all the locker room support and former player support. However, I think Tepper will see him as a watered down Ron Rivera and will go get his guy. I don’t think “his guy” is going to be who everyone else is thinking. I think he’s going to get a former HC. (Quinn, Reich, Harbaugh, etc)
  7. Bad pass but why the hell was our 3rd string TE running a deep post. And why did Darnold throw it to him in double coverage.
  8. “Touch me and I’ll sue”
  9. Matt Moore. He is Matt Moore. Career backup who can start stretches if needed but folds as “The Guy”
  10. I mean, I wouldn’t mind an O minded guy either but if you look at the current playoff standings it’s about 50/50. I posted on here last year, and it’s about 50/50 with Super Bowls the last 10-15 years too. Look at Nathaniel Hackett, Arthur Smith, Kliff Kingsbury. It depends on leadership more than anything.
  11. I learned a long time ago that organizations don’t care about fans. They care about the community as a whole (sometimes) and what puts asses into seats and gets merch off shelves.
  12. I haven’t seen anything reported but a lot of fans on Twitter are pretty confident that Rivera is getting canned. If Wilks is retained what are the chances Ron would take a DC spot? I think it’s doubtful, but good chance that Wilks would raid most of his staff.
  13. Nothing. I’m old enough to remember Vince Young scoring 5 TDs and setting a record for most all purpose yards in the Rose Bowl. Means Didly-poo.
  14. It’s not totally inconceivable that Sam can become a long term starter. This is the best OL he has ever had and he is in a system that fits him. Plus he’s only 25. However, you probably don’t want to bet on it. He needs a cheap deal and some competition. He has a long way to go before he makes people forget about his past.
  15. I could be totally wrong here, but just some observations from this week. -Carolina reported back in Monday at 1. -TB reported in Wednesday afternoon. - Bucs players seem to be more relaxed in pressers this week and have mentioned being “excited.” -Panthers players are following Wilks message of “everyone knows what this game means, win the day, etc” - Haven’t seen it confirmed anywhere yet, but my understanding is that the Panthers are on normal road game curfew despite the holiday. -Bucs are at home so likely no curfew tonight with a report in time tomorrow morning. Could just be me, but I’m seeing two different vibes this week.
  16. I believe his projected market value for next year is 5.4 million per year. I could live with a 2yr 15 million deal with the first year guaranteed or something.
  17. Most of them have high end jobs, and this is a part time thing for them. They are fully invested throughout the year. On a side note, the fix could also be in for Tampa, to align a Winner Take All game next week against the Saints. Could be Boger is at the Philly/Saints game.
  18. I see it as a win-win. Darnold does well= Yay. Darnold does bad= Drake Maye/Caleb Williams
  19. I thought this too when I seen the ref assignments. If there is a fix, Boger is in Philly to keep NO alive for a Storyline next week. It’s a Win-Win for the NFL. Bucs Win=Brady in Playoffs Panthers Win= Week 18 showdown with the Saints for winner take all. (Just have to keep the Saints alive Week 17)
  20. Good News: We don’t have Jerome Boger. Bad News: We have Brad Rogers. His team was the one that missed the delayed spike week 1 against the Browns.
  21. Only thing that gives me hope for scenario 1 is that we have the momentum and they struggled with a Cardinals team on their 3rd string QB. They also took off until Tomorrow and Wilks brought everyone back Monday.
  22. We are either going to blow them out 2014 Atlanta style or the refs are going to push them over the finish line at the end. Scenario 1: Car 33 TB-14 Scenario 2: TB 20 Car-17 Scenario 2 will almost convince me that then NFL wants him in the Playoffs 1 more time.
  23. The Bucs game Sunday is either going to be a 35-10 Panther blowout or the refs carrying the Bucs over the finish line in a 16-13 type game. I’m just not sure which yet.
