With CMC back, at least Sam would be smart enough to dump it off to him. We found out that we can't win with Sam Darnold. He needs his "Training Wheels" (CMC) to be there constantly for him to be successful. And it sucks, man. It really sucks.

Well if we look at it from a cold, analytical standpoint, he had 4 games (3 of them wins where he threw close to or over 300 yards) where he looked promising. Then he laid a giant TURD in a punch-bowl today. 4 solid games to 1 sh-tshow shouldn't be the cause of wanting him to be shipped out of town but the problem is that it showed that with CMC, Sam Darnold doesn't seem to be able to raise his game to the next level. Granted, it's still early but this recent start illustrates that scenario.

I don't think Watson would've been allowed to play this season, though, as the NFL would've stepped in.

That's one thing he always will have over Teddy Asswater at least. 10000% this. I don't want excuses. ONLY RESULTS (Positive ones). Just find a way to win next week (or at least not suck ass like you did today...good lord).

I would've given the Game Ball to US the fans who had to sit through that slop-of-a-game.

Our only hope is CMC comes back and stays healthy for the rest of the season so we can at least PRETEND that we're watching a Good football team the rest of the way. Sam, as much as it pains me to say this, is who you thought he was. I just hoped beyond hope he was something more. damn. (maybe it wasn't JUST the Jets after all)

Pretty much this. It sucks, though, that Sam will turn into the sacrificial lamb to get the Front office to get up off their asses finally and do something about this O-Line. Also, I'm not so sure that having Joe Brady as the OC will do any rookie QB any favors either. I'm at a loss right now.
