  1. That's kind of the worst part about not sitting him the last few games of the year. Really would have been helpful seeing a guy that actually was a decent starter in the NFL run the offense just to see how much of it was the entire offense vs BY just sucking. Defenses play different QB's differently but seems like some people don't see that type of trickle down effect
  2. We've had 2 really bad back to back preseasons where the coaches didn't take it seriously, coddled the starting qb, and claimed to not be giving away any of their magic playbooks lol. We at least need to beat dudes one on one in basic reps, at the very least not have our starters get outplayed by other teams 2nd string guys again.
  3. Patriots, Giants, Falcons turning over every stone to set up a QB room, we won't even give Bryce legit competition. How do you go through training camp and know what you actually have if you don't?
  4. 4 seconds in the air and 33 year old Thielen, someone else is catching that ball in a real game lol
  5. Agree, worst case scenario he looks like Teddy B which would be good enough for Tepper to keep him around for 8 years
  6. Fixing that lazy ass drop back will be a milestone victory in itself. Then maybe we can see him actually step into a throw?
  7. Also it's a flawed approach, if we go down 2 scores that whole game plan is out the window and the QB has to start slinging it
  8. I would take it over this clown show! The fluff is not working on me this offseason, didn't the last two either. You can tell a shitty boss has and is still meddling and micromanaging, but it's a business where he makes profit whether he puts out a good product or not so we're kinda fuged as fans
  9. I think we saw his super processor kick in after the Falcons game, he intentionally didn't attempt certain throws because he didn't trust his velocity, as well as some he probably just literally couldn't see where guys were on scramble drills. That takes away his whole "timing qb" thing many folks love to label him as. I guess they can try to game plan around it but it won't take opposing defenses very long to watch a little film and figure it out
  10. Can you imagine even PJ Walker coming in vs what we saw last year? They wouldn’t allow him to be out there launching bombs in preseason w Bryce sitting on the sideline
  11. Edge I guess is the new universal term for 4-3 DE/OLB yes. I think we’re pretty solid in the middle
  12. C, QB3 and DE can all be upgraded by most teams trash
  13. WW We're top of the waiver wire til regular season week 3 when they start the new rankings
  14. Their college highlights look nothing alike
  15. BY don't throw deep so they might like the red zone jump ball option
  16. Yeah, banking on his hands, vertical, height etc. Thing is we have a processor with an average arm, not a gunslinger so he might not even get those 50/50's to even show what he can do. XL has some of the same BY issues, if he doesn't get some 50/50 throws his way he's going to be stuck catching a lot of expected shallow crossers aka dinks and dunks
  17. Right, D Johnson, Thielen, and XL/WR3 with new guards and TE should be close to a wash. Add in BY being the #1 overall draft pick, better than Teddy in 2020 shouldn't be too much to ask for.
  18. Well he was projected 5th/6th by most profiles I read. Most had these same weaknesses, slow vertical speed, no NFL competition, whatever. He had the same 40 and 20/10 splits as Antonio Brown, 3" more height and like 10" more vertical. It's mostly going to come down to the level of competition he faced and if he can get decent separation SCOUTING REPORT: WEAKNESSES Lacks explosive separation quickness and deep speed, often requires contested catches due to close coverage. Performance against higher caliber defenses remains a significant unknown, potentially impacting transition to the NFL. Subpar after-the-catch dynamics, with limited elusiveness and downfield acceleration affecting YAC potential. May struggle to step up his game - especially after playing at a lower level of compeition Initial stiffness in press situations could be exploited by physical NFL cornerbacks, necessitating refined footwork and release strategy.
