Yeah. I would say you also have to consider things like there is a different #1 QB almost every year, different MVP (usually QB) every year, and they have a different team and at least some different coaches every year. So who's the "best" and what at and why is fluid

I wish the ignore feature also worked when people quote said ignored person

Young VS Stroud, the greatest Panthers debate ever?
Jackie Lee replied to GOAT's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think his arms got a little bigger, but yeah I think everything else is out of his control -
Not a visit exactly, and this was pre-combine, but I'd have no problem with Campbell at 39 if Luke approves

Bryce and CJ meanwhile... -
This shows up on tape On throws traveling 10 or more yards downfield, his accuracy rate of 60% is higher than any quarterback taken in the first round since 2017.

A debate about the debate, just what we needed -
He is obviously a step above Baker or Sam upstairs, on and off the field. I'm not worried about any small things people nitpick about his Ohio tape. McCown and Reich obviously love him and it's literally their job to take him to the next level. If Bryce is so pro ready send him to the Texans that have a Defensive HC

Who is this dork and how would he know which private visits have already happened?

It's interesting, I hadn't seen the Rose Bowl footage before. He definitely improved his vision over this past season. He's also definitely making at least 2 reads on a lot of the snaps for the guys saying he's always locked on one guy. And he doesn't seem afraid of stepping up in the pocket, he always steps into his throws so I don't get that criticism either.

Which game? The MHJ scramble TD against Georgia?
-
It's only highlights, but the skycam stuff is a way more interesting view from the QB perspective. Haven't watched the Rose Bowl one yet.
-
Yeah I've been meaning to watch more to see if he needs to scramble/drop back so much because of pressure or lack of being able to see over the line. It was fun to watch live on Saturdays, I wish there was more all 22 film on college games

How much deep diving have you done into your critique of Bryce Young?
-
I think he's the least talked about #1 qb of all time, pre and post draft.
-
It was a totally different game plan on D. Stroud got blitzed/pressured way more than I saw from the Young/GA games. Only time I saw a team go after Bryce like that was the Texas game where he threw for 213 yards and 1 td. That's a more clear indicator of how Bryce will be treated in the NFL. If I was an NFL DC I'd rather go against Bryce than CJ any day of the week

Watch this and tell me you have any leadership/motivation/maturity concerns from CJ. I didn't know his journey from being a 3 star recruit to basically just being better than everyone else every time someone decided to give him a chance. I was nowhere near as mature when I was 21.
-
Yeah, he didn't throw at the combine either where it's a level playing field back to back. He can't launch it 65 yards like CJ or AR. Or he didn't wanna take his hoodie off because he was a very bloated 204 pounds, either way it was a combination of dodging the situation and some insecurity. I'd respect him more if he had just weighed in at 190 and threw perfect 55 yard deep passes instead of trying to fudge things.
