  1. Strange I didn't know they did the top 30 visits pretty much at the same time like a job fair
  2. Ok so far they seems like they had no intention of trading out of 6, maybe if Ickey went earlier but who knows with the clever editing
  3. Don't they usually just drop these out of nowhere? Kinda weird move
  4. Would probably have to go with some equally unlikeable and untalented.. James Corden?
  5. Strange he'd say that and also list Trubisky 12 spots higher than Pickett, who's job would be taken "this year".
  6. Yes. Last year Robby was with his personal trainer instead of voluntary OTA's. He was already in the building the last couple weeks so it's that big of a deal at an internal level. TMJ and Shi need the extra reps anyway.
  7. Yeah bringing in QB competition because he sucked last year isn't exactly a type of adversity, it's just cause and effect.
  8. Rhule still coddling the 5th year pro. I saw no edge in those practice clips
  9. Don't really understand putting a guy particularly susceptible to bull rushes under center. Hopefully this is just Campen entertaining one of Rhules micromanagement ideas for a couple hours
  10. Dunno what #4 was throwing either, looked like he was tossing one to 1st base.
  11. Yeah with both of them learning a new offensive system I don't really see what Sam has over Matt aside from getting paid more. Even in these little Twitter clips Corral just looks like he's taking it more seriously than the other guys
  12. He signs elsewhere for 2023, We'll be picking in the mid teens and looking for Rhules 4th journeyman QB in 4 years. Sounds like a waste of time to me
  13. We ran the ball effectively last year, the coaches just chose not to. Remember the Giants game where we were basically tied around halftime and then we threw it like 30 times in a row for no reason?
  14. I wonder if he liked when we were running like 7 play action pass plays in a row without even handing the ball off. At least the QB has the option to run in the RPO. I think the scheme concern is all overrated, Corral had no problem hanging in the pocket in shotgun when he had decent weapons in 2020. He just ran a shitload last year because it was the only way to get 1st downs with the team he was playing for
  15. Nice long breakdown of some Corral tape. I think I watched these guys break down Fields last year and I like their style, got some nice full field/22 angles and so far I can see Matt going through progressions required at the NFL level even though he had to create some out of thin air. He may have some seemingly weird incompletions but he's not gonna throw nearly as many softballs into coverage as Kenny Pickett looks like is coming for him
  16. Hopefully we can associate him with something other than a glorified sit down fast food buffet.
  17. He didn't have Cams arm to begin with, and doesn't have Sam or Corrals arm either 100% healthy. He's basically Teddy 2.0 but a yes man to appease Rhule's ego
  18. Nothing is gonna happen until he can prove that he can throw in training camp, and then it's gonna be too late for any team to want to trade for him as a day 1 starter not knowing the new teams playbook. I think they keep him, maybe cut him if Trey Lance is obviously ready during preseason. Sucks for Jimmy but he decided on the surgery kind late and they're giving him the opportunity to be traded, just no ones biting unless Rhule throws a hissy fit. Don't think Rhule has that kinda leverage anymore though
  19. Over the cap is kinda confusing but it looks like a $20M dead cap split over 3 years if we cut him next year, and would save $12Mish? So $7M or so dead cap for 3 years...Probably shouldn't have paid a running back that kinda money. He's definitely not going anywhere this year but after that it's manageable if he's totally worn down. Move him to the Deebo role and it's good value if healthy
  20. Problem is the Panthers know neither guy would sign here as a free agent, which should turn them off on wanting them at all but here we are.
  21. SF can cut him and only owe him $1M, like $25M of his salary isn't guaranteed. Don't see why they'd eat $10-15M for a 5th round pick. Maybe agree to an extension and trade but I'd really not want to do that with an average QB coming off shoulder surgery. We on the other hand are negative $30M in cap next year and shouldn't be investing $40M in a Darnold/Jimmy G/PJ/Corral QB battle
