  1. Halftime news is gonna be all Antonio Brown, probably won't even get a mention at all this week in the media unless something happens with the staff
  2. If attendance in the 4th quarter last game is any indication of next year he's actually losing more in the long run keeping Rhule than just eating the contract and moving on. Get Pederson or equivalent and get the young guys good coaching while they're still on cheap contracts
  3. I dunno if the Observer would even let anyone print that. The Athletic probably loves it since they actually maybe got some new subscribers. Hard to convince people to pay even $2 a month for words nowadays. If Ellis the new observer guy eventually leaves it'd be cool if he moved over there, he's a good writer and probably knows the most about the actual game
  4. When an agent is telling his players "You can go to Carolina for more money but the whole system sucks", it's kinda fuged from the get go
  5. Yep we can't even really trade back more than 2-3 spots or we'll miss the top OL guys, we don't really need 5 more project guys next year but that's probably what we're gonna get if we move back
  6. Only one way to find out, they at least have legit NFL experience
  7. In that confidential it seemed like Scott trading back and Rhule blurting out who he wanted. Obviously the long snapper and Chuba (who is not as good as Eli Mitchell or Khalil Herbert taken after him)
  8. Yup, and still had Tremble who's having a decent year, and Shi Smith who has been way more productive than TMJ. Why draft TMJ and Shi then pay Robby $15m a year? ugh this is all gonna look even worse in hindsight in a few years
  9. Imagine if we had Deonte Brown and Trey Smith in the interior for 4 years on rookie late round deals
  10. As if the Seahawks have done anything right since they lucked out drafting Wilson, who wants to leave before he gets destroyed behind their also horrible O-line...Maybe Tepper just said "Oh yeah Seahawks win games I'll take that guy!"
  11. He has so much work to do himself learning how to call an NFL game in real time, he didn't need any projects. He probably figured after Teddy calling BS that he had to find project guys to even buy into the idea that he had some kind of plan/culture or whatever he's supposedly good at. Pat Coletrane was saying every trade was too good to be true and they all were, this staff got played on all of them.
  12. Yup, could have kept Teddy, drafted fields or slater whatever you like, drafted Creed or one of the tackles in the 2nd, grabbed Trey Smith instead of a long snapper in the 5th..That'd have been a rebuild with a better record this year and more draft picks next year. Oh well I guess we'll spend the next 2 drafts making up for all the win now moves since all those guys will be free agents before you know it
  13. He probably does try to rap in front of the mirror at home. I hate when I hear him on the sidelines trying to have some kinda fake ass slang or drawl tone when talking to the players.
  14. I'm not surprised he took the job, his agent tried to get the Giants to match or beat the offer so who knows how invovled Rhule was in that. He's made tons of horrible decisions and has no idea to call a game in real time but that's more on Tepper for hiring him when he wasn't known for being a football guy. Why I dislike him is his press conferences, constant lying, talking up players before cutting them, etc. I doubt anyone here would like him as their boss at their job, or find him motivating in any fashion
  15. Yup all this money on the books for Robby, CMC, Shaq, and Darnold is insane. They are each getting overpaid by like $5m each at least. Chinn has regressed due to playing out of position, he's either getting lost on deep ball coverage or getting tackles that are basically just cleaning up the LB's mistakes. Tepper needs to get his staff their own DBO sign
  16. Yeah and their QB is still growing. But yeah still they beat us and the Giants, the Giants beat us with most their starters out, etc...3 of their losses were by 3 points against. I'm more interested in the fact that the players are actually playing motivated
  17. We weren't winning when CMC was getting 2k yards. Titans had Derrick Henry go down who actually makes a huge impact and they've still gone 4-3 in the games he's missed. You could say the Dolphins don't have a centerpiece and they're on a 7-0 run. I'd take a better coach over the best QB in the draft and still having Rhule
  18. Yup only crazy thing they did was trade LT Laremy Tunsil for a a first and 2 round pick I think..He's good but his contract was almost up and he's been injured pretty much all year anyway. I still want Rhule gone but sure would have been nice to have at least all of our picks next draft since that's how most teams rebuild. By the team we're "Built" the whole 2020 drafted D is gonna be up for contract
  19. Seriously, change all that out and he's still going to be burning all three timeouts halfway through each half. If you want a puppet at least get someone likeable/former NFL player like Dan Campbell. Even Saleh, at least he doesn't sound like a chipmunk
  20. Iti's pretty obvious it took about 3 games for the whole league to completely figure out our playbooks/game management issues. That's not gonna go away with higher draft picks and the best FA's, etc. Rhule has shown zero reason why he should get multiple years to learn on the job with no guarantee he's actually ever going to be any good at basic in game management/adjustment. He's shown that his "culture" is one of excuses and scapegoating
  21. And Reddick probably has a 4 year window to win a ring, he should go to a contender. Just because he played at temple doesn't mean he owes Rhule anything loyalty wise. If he had had a bad year Rhule would have thrown him under the bus already
  22. So Rhule played everyone except BC at left tackle until it's too late to really have a proper evaluation on him. He played ok when he got time, but we have no idea if that's because he'd be better with more snaps or worse with more film for defenses to attack his weaknesses. Thanks to Rhule he's basically a rookie again next year
  23. I think Rhule just doesn't want to be proven wrong on his guard evaluation and arm length thing, he's that messed up in the head
  24. Rhule already had his 7 years at Temple and Baylor, he probably used the same line to brag about getting the Panthers job
