Quite a few mocks have us going Edge with our first pick, which I think is odd considering we got Nick and Princely looking good. I think we have to take a Quarterback if one we like is there. I'm starting Tetairoa over Ladd McConkey this week in fantasy. This thread has me worried a bit but NE has no pass rush so I'm hoping for the first T-Mac TD of the year. His average reception is 15.4 yds, which is nice.

Getting Mac Jones for cheap would give us the option of having time to pick and develop the future starter. Tua is a hard no. Jones looked really good with most of the starting skill positions out.

If we were smart and didn't draft Bryce until we had a better oline and wr's, he would have done much better. However, he would still have been a lower end qb with serious limitations and that would eventually have come out. I feel like we have a fairly decent offense in place for a new qb now, but probably face a lot of change at GM, DC, and HC. I feel like Morgan and Evero need to go at the end of the year so the new GM can bring in his own scouts and create a plan for the future (i.e., fire Canales and do not pick up BY's fifth year option at the end of '26).
