  1. There was an article previously posted that highlighted how Canales morphed his offense over the course of the season to better fit Bryce.
  2. Panthers waive 2024 sixth-rounder DL Jaden Crumedy This plus the AT trade make room for the recently claimed Damarri Mathis and Dalevon Campbell.
  3. I hadn't heard about him until now. Apparently has familiarity with Canales/Idzik as a 2020 fourth-round pick for Seattle.
  4. I was dying when they were giving him Hell about going to South Carolina and trying to get him to do the cheer
  5. Person: Panthers are bringing back Shemar Bartholomew to the PS. Drew interest from several teams.
  6. Hype for that signing tbh. Campbell said he might benefit from a change of scenery. Would be fun if Canales can coach him up and provide a QB2 for after Dalton.
  7. Joe Person: Panthers plan to sign former Packers CB Kalen King to the PS. 7th round selection out of PSU.
  8. Per Joe Person (per Mike Garafolo), no players waived by Carolina were claimed.
  9. Mike Kaye reports that the Panthers plan to add RB Deejay Dallas and QB Hendon Hooker to the PS. Also says that DB Trevian Thomas will likely be brought to the PS. OL Ja'Tyre Carter cleared waivers and is on the Panthers' IR.
  10. Joe Person just posted that the Panthers plan to claim WR/KR Ainias Smith to the practice squad. Was a '24 fifth-round selection for the Eagles.
  11. Mike Kaye has now successfully called a Panthers' waiver claim three years in a row. Impressive!
  12. Woa there now Pointing out reasonable challenges that players face is regarded as "making excuses" and "carrying the water" around these parts.
  13. Pats current EDGEs are Keion White, Harold Landry III, Anfernee Jennings, and K'Lavon Chaisson. I'm surprised they didn't keep Swinson as a 5th pass rusher tbh.
  14. Flipped the upcoming 7th to a 5th and the following draft's 5th to a 4th at the expense of a 35yr old veteran on the last year of his deal. Win-win for all parties. Hoping they bring Renfrow back now that there's room!
  15. 1. Click on the menu in the top-right of the screen that looks like three lines 2. Click on "Your Account" 3. Click on "Ignored Users" at the bottom 4. Type in the user's screen name that you want to ignore and select the one that matches 5. Check all three boxes to ignore posts, messages, and reactions 6. Click "Add User" I've only got four users on my ignore list but maaaaan does it make the experience better. Quick note: You will still be able to see ignored users' posts if somebody quotes them.
  16. From everything I've heard and seen, it sounds like what ultimately did Renfrow in was special teams. David Moore, Brycen Tremayne, Jimmy Horn Jr, and Jalen Coker are all able to contribute on special teams. Can't help but think if they could've worked out a deal for Thielen that he'd still be here, but it's also reasonable to question whether he could handle a full NFL season while successfully managing UC.
  17. The entire episode is hilarious. Mike Davis is funny af.
  18. Link to article Seven players mentioned are... ILB Mark Robinson (PIT) - 2022 seventh round pick that was a core special teams player and was productive in the final preseason game vs. CAR (3 TKLs, 1 FF, 1 FR). Undersized at 5'11" 235 lbs. CB O'Donnell Fortune (NYG) - UDFA rookie out of South Carolina (and a Sumter native). 6'1", 185lbs frame fits the Panthers' preference for long and lanky CBs. Panthers' evaluators got a lot of time with him during the Shrine Bowl, his pro day, and the combine. CB Damarri Mathis (DEN) - 2022 fourth-round pick that played for Evero his rookie season at 5'11" 195lbs both inside and outside. Did well under Evero (16 games, 11 starts, 65 TKLs, 7 PBUs) but slid down the depth chart after he left. Started just seven of 27 games the last two seasons. DB Dean Clark (NYJ) - Fresno State UDFA with good size (6'1" 205lbs) and preseason production (5 TKLs, 1 INT, 2 PBUs) that can also play special teams. The Panthers have claimed a player from the Jets in each of the past two seasons (having also played the Jets both times in preseason though). OLB Brennan Jackson (LAR) - 2024 fifth-rounder that notched three sacks in the preseason. Played special teams and rotated in on defense that could potentially be an upgrade from DJ Johnson. DB Beau Brade (BAL) - 2024 UDFA that appeared in 11 games and played 70% of the special teams snaps. Has the size (6'0" 209lbs) that the team covets at safety. K Ben Sauls (PIT) - 24yrs old and went four-for-four against Carolina in preseason. Made 21 of 24 FGs during his final college season at Pitt.
  19. I wouldn't worry too much about the current depth chart. The current rotation is going to be ARob/BB3/DB on run downs and Turk will sub in for ARob on passing downs. Crumedy will be backing DB and Jackson will sub for BB3. Johnson will also likely be rotating in behind Scourton while Incoom will sub in for Umanmielen.
  20. Haven't you heard? The missing piece to the roster is QB3!
  21. Names that I'm interested in: QB: Tyler Huntley, Bailey Zappe, Tommy DeVito, Dorian Thompson-Robinson WR: Malachi Corley (YAC God got waived!?), Jha'Quan Jackson, Xavier Restrepo TE: Jaheim Bell, TE Tre McKitty, Cameron Latu DL: Marlon Tuipulotu EDGE: Julian Okwara, Antwaun Powell-Ryland, Fadil Diggs LB: Jamin Davis, Chad Muma, Chazz Surratt CB: Tariq Castro-Fields, Zy Alexander, O'Donnell Fortune, Mike Hilton S: Sam Franklin Jr, Israel Mukuamu K: Caden Davis, Dustin Hopkins
  22. Did not expect Renfrow to get cut nor did I expect the LBs after Wallace/Rozeboom/Cherelus to be just Martin-Scott. Looks like they were able to make room for Incoom/Johnson, Crumedy/Jackson, and Evans/Mitchell though at the expense of Renfrow, a 10th OL, and a 5th ILB. I wonder if Evero plans to kick any of the OLBs inside in some situations? That or maybe they're looking to claim some bodies off of the waiver wire and wait until it's "safer" to move Johnson and/or Crumedy to the PS?
  23. It's Bryce's fault that their careers are over because the #1 overall pick is supposed to carry the whole team. /s And the team went 7-8-1 and KB went off for 1k+ yards as a rookie. I think we easily see at least 7 wins if TMac has a similar rookie year.
  24. Ooo I know we prefer bigger DBs, but Cobee is a dawg.
