Yeah I was in mid season form yelling at the tv excited when he caught that 20 yard sideline bomb. That was an nfl throw and catch from those two and something we haven’t had in a while. The TD he missed Bryce threw that ball with so much anticipation it just got past him right as he turned his head towards the QB to anticipate a catch. It was also obvious on replays too he knew that it was his fault and was a timing thing. He looks the part out there and exactly what I saw on YouTube, Big and smooth. I love how he can be a deep threat through size and speed and then if corners play off him he can run big in breakers and isn’t scared of the middle of the field. He caught a nice one from Bryce and then Dalton threw him a hospital ball too which annoyed me. Curious to see how he’ll do vs press corner.

I don’t want to be too dramatic about preseason but I think it’s ok to say that losing by 20 to the 2025 Browns is unacceptable

This kind of makes sense just looking at the roster & players but ultimately contracts are too important in the NFL. To give up a cheap controlled asset who has produced just as much as your first round pick for an expiring average LB is just bad business.

It's weird how disengaged I feel from it all, I have lived the Cam Newton experience and know it like the back of my hand. I like the look of this draft but I feel like I say that all the time for us. Unfortunately due to the bad Fitt drafts and last years draft we absolutely must have 3 solid nfl contributors at minimum here. If we get that then the franchise can take a step forward and be competitive.

Me too. I'm seriously pulling hard for this regime more than any previous one we've ever had. He especially crushed FA last season but that draft was extremely disappointing so he has to hit on a few players this year.
