Maybe just sit in the 4th, and take whichever QB is left there that's got the biggest arm.

Round 1 - The Carolina Panthers select Ikem Ekwonu
Panthering replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was probably having heart palpitations also we eventually learned he has zero personality. -
Well he did score in the teens on a the Wonderlic
-
I don't care what the mocks said, he's a luxury player and a bad pick IMO
-
Lions trade up and take the best WR in the draft good job by them
-
Oh my god the Taints traded up for a freaking WR I'm dead
-
Definitely. The thing I enjoy about the NFL & the draft is 99% of the time the truth shows up whether on Sundays or in the picks. The NFL thinks these QBs stink man.... fascinating to watch. I love this stuff.
-
Well you see they have the worst roster in the NFL and took a luxury player for the second year in a row with no QB. This luxury players specialty is just jump balls sooooooo.... yeah.
-
Falcons had a horrible pick taking Drake London, love to see it.... still no QBs interesting

lame, go to bed kiddo. -
Man I'm so happy we took a LT and would have been happy with Ickey or Neal. Thrilled.

Great pick Panthers thank you, I wanted Neal but I'm 100% satisfied with that -
Evan Neal, speaking this into existence
-
That's fine, at least he finally freaking said something about Rhule and now we have a timeline. Worth noting he's not going to say much else and that things can change so this is ok to me.

Fitterer and Morgan draft presser today at 2:00
Panthering replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Regarding 3, I think for many here worst case scenario is the top 3 LT's are off the board at 6 and there's not a trade back option. Would people agree with that? -
I've never been less excited about a draft in Panthers history.
Panthering replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's the most boring draft class since the Eric Fisher draft and we don't have many draft picks early. But we have the chance to draft a long term LT or a QB of the future this draft which is pretty exciting to be honest. The uncertainty of the 5 picks ahead of us will make it interesting on draft night, but I will likely switch the channel after pick 15 or so, I've never known less about a draft class in my life. -
"What are we doing in the draft" 2022 edition.
Panthering replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
I feel like we are just going to take one of the 3 top LT's and then just chill -
Matt Rhule dresses like a goddamn slob

You may not like it, but that's what the peak male body type looks like, what a sculpted god. -
The Panthers have first round grades on 3 QBs.
Panthering replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is actually pretty encouraging to me that they have targeted these 3, also points to us drafting a QB this draft which I like as well. I'm ok with any of those 3, preferably Corral & Pickett over Willis. -
Not loving how that sounds but..... I guess I'm glad we met with him?

Watson not out of woods yet - 2nd grand jury
Panthering replied to FugginPoo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'm still shocked someone gave up so much capital for him when the legal stuff still wasn't really cleared, not to mention if he'll be suspended by the NFL, it's just a clown show. Glad we are out of the woods with this. -
Chris Simms top QB is Matt Corral and why you should listen
Panthering replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
These lists are all sorts of inaccurate and cherry picked. He makes changes to them as we get closer to the draft, one of his final revisions had Lamar at 3rd I think. I love Simms and enjoy his QB evals but this is a misleading post. -
Just listened to this and I really enjoy listening to Simms talk about the QBs every draft. His knowledge of throwing mechanics and his insights on that separate him from the rest of the talking heads in my opinion. This was a great listen and opened my eyes some on a few of these prospects.

You may be right but I just don't trust this franchise right now haha

I still have no idea what to think of Malik Willis at all, never saw him play, seen clips of his throws and he's got a hell of an arm certainly NFL level. I want him to succeed, if he is deemed as raw I hope he goes somewhere like PIT with more established culture and staff as opposed to here.
