BREAKiNG NEWS: Panthers interested in trading for Trey Hendrickson
csx replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I never thought for a second we would trade for Hendrikson. It made no sense. But I dont put much credence in the Twitter rumor mill. -
These are roster cuts. Picking up a mediocre player is a win.

Josina Anderson: Panthers NOT trading Adam Thielen

Im fine with either. -
Butker has never been All Pro or even Pro Bowl. Though Gano made the Pro Bowl the season we kept him over Butker
-
Based on what?
-
Im sure Thielen doesn't mind going to Minnesota compared to others but he's here specifically because he wanted ti retire in the region.
-
Playing the same role is different than having the same style. Cam Newton and Drew Brees both played QB but arent the same type in any way.
-
We've got to get to .500 before we concern ourselves with an all in year. Like maybe we are challenging for a wildcard in 26 if things go well.
-
No major injuries and draft picks looking solid.
-
I honestly dont worry about the cap one bit now. We haven't had issues with that in a while.
-
Thielen is a tall air yards guy. Renfrow is a short yac receiver. Not too much in common really.
-
Im not against the idea.
-
Brown and Jackson pretty much protypical NTs. Brown started at NT last 2 seasons in 3-4. Jackson has only played NT in 3-4 in college. Brown could play any 3-4 line position but his quickness is suited for end. Our OLB are all best suited for 3-4
-
The link doesn't work.
-
Thielen's yards per reception was higher last year than any of Renfrows career. His per game productivity last year as an old slow receiver the same as Renfrows 1 good season. These things are easy to find.

We traded for Mike Jackson last August. If we got that level of player that wouldn't be insignificant

Blatant Clempson homerism
-
Too bad for him he turned down Seattle just before they traded for Sam Howell. Though this reaks of some Tar Heel homer folklore.
