  1. And that is still 15 to 20% less that what this offense does. I don’t think I can recall a single pass attempt from Bryce this season that came from under center. Play action passes from under center are an NFL staple for hitting big plays down field yet we haven’t seen it once from Bryce Young.
  2. Oh idk maybe the fact that he’s to small to operate the passing game from under center. Over 90% of our offense comes out of the shotgun and that was never the case with any of Franks teams in Indy.
  3. The offense is literally neutered because of Bryce young. 90% of the offense is run out of the shotgun which is just crazy at the NFL level. Are you telling me that you’ve watched Bryce young for 10 weeks and still think it’s a coincidence that Dalton put up our highest point and yardage total of the season? There have been teams much worse talent wise than this current panthers squad. Bryce Young on the other hand has been historically bad.
  4. They’re both terrible products currently and have been for a while now. The 12 team playoff starting next season should help a ton.
  5. Yes. Our owner doesn’t want to win that way. He made in very clear in the offseason.
  6. Same here. I actually saw some positives. D for being banged up held up for a bit before getting gassed like usual. Both Chuba and Miles ran hard. I saw WRs and TEs getting open. Of course I am still wanting to see something, fuging anything from Bryce Young. Unfortunately it was more of the same. I really feel like we need to bench Bryce and start Dalton for the rest of the season before firing Frank and see if anything changes. I don’t want to fire a coach just because the rookie QB the team drafted fuging sucks.
  7. Talked about this all game day thread. Much like Not using Bryce to QB sneak because he’s to small, he’s also to short to operate the entire offense from under center.
  8. The defense is probably fed up with this poo and I don’t blame them. Our offense could just punt on first down and yield the same results.
  9. Our most successful offensive plays today have been the 3 runs that all came when Bryce was under center. Got down into the red zone, immediately went back to three straight shotgun snaps and ever one lost yards. It’s insanity.
  10. Our turf fuging sucks lmao. Guys have been slipping all day
  11. Back to running out of shot gun loss of 4 and now the offense stalls….
  12. Play action bootlegs would work wonders for this offense but we have a QB who’s too small to operate under center.
  13. Idk how anyone can expect an NFL offense to be successful operating out of shotgun 99% of the time. This isn’t fuging college.
  14. How do you miss Tremble streaking wide open there?
  15. Wow rush 7+ and get instant pressure shocking. Must take a super processor to know to throw the ball away though.
  16. Maybe if we drafted a quarterback that could operate under center it would be a little harder for the defense to predict what’s the offense is about to do. our offense is 95% shotgun. Get under center and slow the pass rush down with some damn play action.
  17. Why are people acting like he’s a five year vet? The kid is 23 playing his second NFL season. Everyone knew he was a raw pass blocker coming out but had huge potential. He’s shown plenty of flashes and is going through the typical sophomore slumps.
  18. The closest QB on the graph to Bryce is Justin Herbert. He has 2349 passing yards and 17 TDs. He’s nearly doubled Bryce’s passing stats with less turnovers. This chart is incredibly misleading and doesn’t paint the picture some of you are wanting it to.
  19. Not 100% but you’re in denial if you don’t think it’s a major factor. What other reason would you give as to why there has hardly been any successful QBs under 6ft in the history of the NFL?
  20. We’re the worst team in the league in large part because of said rookie QB.
  21. This team could bring in prime Don Shula and it wouldn’t matter. There’s nothing really much you can do to make up for Bryce’s physical disadvantages. There’s a reason there has only been a few successful QBs under 6ft to play in the NFL.
  22. And my point is if Davis Mills was still their starter the team would still suck and no one would be talking about how well they constructed their roster around their QB.
