An ugly win counts just as much as a pretty win. Who cares what it looks like? A WIN is a WIN. I just don't understand this. Who spends 4 hours watching their favorite team win a football game, then complains about how it was won? We beat a Divisional rival, at their place, and only lost 1 spot in the draft doing so. Triple win.

I'm all for a top pick, if it happens organically because your team sux. Or maybe via trade as well. But purposely losing for a high pick is a fans wet dream. It doesn't happen in the real world. Yes we need a QB. But you folks obsessing over events out of your control are becoming redundant. It's the same argument every time. There are no new angles to add. So just keep rehashing the same opinions over and over until we finally get to the draft. Then you can start harping on the fact we took the wrong one. lol Happy Holidays to you and yours.

I got a quarter that says this thread is going to be a doozy.

I don't want to say it's a Perfect Panther thing to do. Cuz we really don't know how Fox or Rivera would use him. But it is a typical Rhule move. Take a player, who was in the running for DPOY, and change his position. It is also kinda strange how Wilks is using him. There may be a method to his madness, but I can't see it. Just another one of those things that make me go hmmm.

RIP Franco. As my dad was of course a Cowboys' fan, I remember being frustrated at that thought of the loss. Then exhilarated after that play. Man, football is a great game.

People glean what that wish to see. That gives them free rein to throw shade. It's like High Noon in the Old West in here. -

I gave you a beer. But it deserved more than that. It truly made me chuckle. Thanks for that. Happy Holidays to you and yours. -

Sorry bout that. I guess this board has me on more of an edge than I realized. I wasn't trying to be rude. Hence is what the wife uses when she wants to make a point. So I guess I stole it from her, and threw it at you. lol -

I truly have a hard time convincing myself that all these ppl that are already up in arms over losing. Will have the patience to wait another 2-3 years for those picks to turn into anything, if they ever do that is. Trading away one of your best players for a chance at getting better down the line. Meahwhile, you just made your team worse. Something wrong with that logic to me. -

Hence why I said their O is better than ours, but our D is better than theirs. Their D is improving. But it was at or near the bottom almost all year. So improving, but still susceptible to big plays, and long drives. -

It would be nice to have our full complement of CBs for this game. But like I mentioned earlier. Our D is better than theirs. However, their O is better than ours. It is going to be an interesting game for sure. -
Attacking “glass half full” posters after a loss…

Oh, I get it. The right coach can come in here and hit the ground running. Just continue building off what we have. That doesn't sound too difficult. Let the consultant pick a handful of candidates. Then let the interviews begin. Pick the guy who knows what we have, what he wants to do with it, and how he is going to go about getting it done. Bingo. -

They run mostly Cover 2 or Cover 3. They want to get pressure from the front 4. It's a stop the run on the way to the QB type rush. LBs are iffy, and the Secondary misses assignments all the time. It is getting better, but they were the worst to start with.
